Re: Yamaha YZF- R15 S Owners Reviews and Experiences
Long waited LED headlight had arrived. Purchased from Ali Express for INR 1800. It say 30W per bulb which means both high and low combined. So with low beam on single led its just 15watts and on high beam its 30watts for the pair. Led driver wont allow both high and low beams together if pass light switch is pressed. The power is more or equal to 60watt halogen. Color temperature is around 6500K with no glare and sharp cutoff. Over all I am happy with the purchase. Yet to adjust the focus on the reflector.

How much heat does it generate, normal as the bulbs?

Thanks for the link. Item seems to be 3 csp chip. So 25 watt per bulb is correct, but thats both low and high beam combined. It will be around 12-13 watt for low beamOriginally posted by saikatbyte View Post

I don't think so. Probably 25W for 3 LEDs.Originally posted by vijaycool View PostThanks for the link. Item seems to be 3 csp chip. So 25 watt per bulb is correct, but thats both low and high beam combined. It will be around 12-13 watt for low beam
It says if I turn low beam or high beam whatever, it will consume only 50W (25Wx2).
The unique feature of these LED is when I press the Pass Light Switch, the low beam automatically switches off & High Beam turns on, like P220s, and that is very good feature of not wasting 100W at that time.
Satisfied after the purchase.Regards

The one I bought also got similar setu up. Low and high beam wont glow together. I bought with cooling belt setup and yours have solid aluminium fin. The led chips are standard generic ones consuming 2watt per chip. Anyways i will check with multimeter to measure power drawOriginally posted by saikatbyte View PostI don't think so. I didn't understand that! Every bike does the same, right? I mean when we press the pass light switch, both of the lights glow in all of our bikes, i.e the high beam just gets lit!Originally posted by saikatbyte View PostI don't think so. Probably 25W for 3 LEDs.

Re: Yamaha YZF- R15 S Owners Reviews and Experiences
In few LEDs, you cannot make both beams ON pressing the pass switch while the LO beam is ON. Only the HI beam will lit up at that time.Originally posted by Santhu Shyam View PostI didn't understand that! Every bike does the same, right? But in Halogens, you can.Regards

So how is the setup will be? In low beam the left side light will get lit up, and when the high beam is turned on, both the sides will get lit up, right? Is this the same scenario in these LED installation?Originally posted by saikatbyte View PostIn few LEDs, you cannot make both beams ON pressing the pass switch while the LO beam is ON.
