can you provide some more info?
After how long does the radiator fan turns on, after you start riding?
What are the usual traffic conditions in which you ride (city traffic, highways, Stop and go traffic, Jams)?
what speeds do you usually ride your bike?

It gets heated aftr few mins of riding. And In city I maintain 40-50kmph. I travel only 6km one way to my college where I hav to cross the silkboard traffic in Bangalore . In highways I was maintaining 65-75kmph at 5000rpm.

        Guys,

I had my R15s rear fender cut off earlier, wanted the look to be more subtle and understated. hence went in for the rear tyre hugger and outcome is good.

Its normal for the Fan to come On when you are riding in stop or go traffic or are stuck in a traffic jam. But the fan should turn Off when you start riding on open road for a few minutes. Since you usually ride on busy roads and the bike is still running in. I don't think there is a problem. New bikes ted to heat more during the running in.

To make sure that there is no problem, take your bike on open roads for a ride (10-20 kms, not more). early morning on a Sunday will be nice. ride stress free and see if the Fan still comes on.. It should not, but if it does, report to the service center.

Ok, the service center guys do nothing on the first service except change engine oil, oil filter, washing and polishing.
Actually there is nothing to do on a new bike except change engine oil, oil filter, washing and polishing.

The bike should feel smooth and refined than before. The engine will still heat up like before, But just to be sure, do take a ride early morning to check the Fan.
I am sure the bike is fine but it will give you peace of mind. Ride safe.

How much it covers the tires? Mud is too much accumulated near linked suspension and looks ugly with those sticky mud

The tyre hugger covers the whole tyre under the seat. Infact the cover assembly starts right from the inside of swingarm. take a close look at the V2 rear. No worries of muck on suspension springs after this assembly has been fitted.

Can you please report after you have tested this mod with a pillion. The gap between the r15 v2 rear seat and that tyre hugger is more and hence it never touches the rear seat even with the pillion. The gap between r15s and its rear seat is very less, hence it might come in contact and the tyre hugger might break.

Try testing it with pillion and then report.

                    Cheers
                    Sanjay

Agree. The gap is less and i decided to put to test with pillion today. Took a 100 km ride and the hugger's tip (found in the middle) seems to scrape with the seat cowl. But it looks negligible. This happens only when i go over a pothole or a series of small speed breakers. Otherwise, looks good. The mark found on top edge of the tyre hugger is something that vanishes with a rub of hand. For single riding, though, touch wood.

I weigh at 85kg and the pillion was weighing 65Kg.

Nothing alarming, so happy with that. Posting pics from today's trip.

                            Hi Everyone,
I was looking out for frame slider for my pre owned R15 V2. Would someone put some light on this issue.
Can have anyone put frame slider on their R15 and if so please share some details.

                              Hi

No sense in using frame sliders on a bike where the cost of replacing the fairing (which would take the brunt of the impact in most cases) is lower than good quality sliders. Frame sliders are typically used on higher end bikes where the cost of spares are on the higher side.

                                Hi Supratik,
Thanks for your thought on this, but still it can take some beating if your bike flips over side stand in parking or maybe a minor fall. Also it can take some impact of your leg if yu fall in a corner.
