Hi. No idea as I don't own a Hornet. I expect the panel to cost 900-1500+/- INR. How did that happen - accident or something fell on the tank ? And, welcome to XBhp !

The steering race/cone bearing cannot be adjusted selectively so that the handle is tighter turning L and easy turning R. Either one of the cables is pulling it (throttle or clutch) or the steering bearing is unevenly worn.

              Front end check:
              1. Both the forks are level vertically - if they are not, both the upper/lower fork bracket bolts have to be loosened, fork heights set and tightened.
              2. Both the steering stem (or lower bracket that holds the fork) and upper bracket has to be aligned
              3. One of the front wheel bearings might have been damaged - do the finger test.

              Another common cause (Front End)

Tightening the axle nut improperly. There is no way to check whether it was tightened properly.
              1. Put the bike in main stand
              2. Hold the LHS axle bolt and loosen RHS axle nut. Now loosen, completely, the pinch bolt on LHS fork.
              3. Tighten the RHS axle nut by holding the LHS axle bolt
              4. Hold the disc brake and pump the forks up and down 7-8 times gently and only after this do the below
              5. Without disturbing the setup much, tighten the pinch bolt on LHS fork

(If the pinch bolt is tightened before torquing the axle nut, the forks may not settle parallel to each other - the same system is used in Pulsar 220 and CBR250R)

              On the Rear end, check:
              1. If both the chain adjusters are at same position and visually check if the swingarm is not deviated to the R or L.
              2. Hold the rear tyre and try to push/pull on it from side of the vehicle - if the swingarm moves laterally, bushes or needle bearing might need replacement.
              3. As usual rear wheel bearings - do either finger test after removing the wheel (or) while the wheel is still attached, grab it at 1 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions (or whichever is comfortable for you) and pull/push towards you - there should be no play in the bearing area (L or R).

There might be other causes like bent fork and bent axle rod but your vehicle is new and we shall ignore those. Does your dad feel L wrist pain too? Does he notice swaying of vehicle to R too?

Thank you so much for taking time to help me out. Now I'm using it myself, I've noticed it recently, so my dad won't be able to notice it, however I took inputs from my friend. He was complaining the same. While I was having a ride of approx 150 kms, on the highway too, I had wrist pain in the left. It isn't swaying to right, and is in line. Yet, it feels unstable and wasn't confidence inspiring. I also noticed that the suspension on the front is having more travel moving down very easily on a sloght tap of the front brake after the ASC guy fixed it. The only concern I've with the bike was sliding to the left once, which I felt was fixed but now it's annoying, but I love my machine[emoji4].
I've checked for clutch cable and other obstruction after your suggestion but couldn't find any.
I will have to try the process you've mentioned once after verifying the front forks are in line or not. But the process you've helped me with seems to be a bit difficult for me. I've noticed the chain adjustment markings and the right is a bit to the back from what I've noticed by almost 3 mm compared to left.
                  I've a doubt sir.
Can I drop a mail on the previous mail that I've dropped to honda and get it fixed in the current location as I'm distant by 160 kms from where it was checked last time.

Freaking Karnataka road tax. At that price I would look for 200cc bike. You will get bored with 150cc segment very soon. You will start feeling lagging punch in 0-60, and then the hunger of top speed over 100. But as per say, 85-90 Kmph cruising is like charm with hornet, which is good enough for 99% of Indian road condition.

Don't get me wrong, I am one the most satisfied owner of Hornet, here, or let say got good copy of machine. I really love the bike and has no major issue so far. Bike never let me down, no break down. Bike is not short term investment. Having fallen down at 60 and no damage to bike, I believe the Honda has given the good parts for long period.
At least from experience of 2.5 years. I have some some things more to share reagrding different bike like RTR160 earlier version, Unicorn 160, Pulsar 220 and Honda Hunk. I will draft in other post.
@raazz: I can feel when you get bad copy.

I never believe on PayTm mall. They never take responsibility of product. I would pay a little more price if there is condition to return without asking question.
                    Why not from Amazon.
It's for 513. MRP is 540. Also, check

One thing I have noticed, probably for all open chain bikes :
When it rains the mud affect the bike performance. It feels heavy. Lubes get dry very quickly in open chain bikes.
I make sure whenever I go water-wash, I asked them to pressure wash the chain while rotating the wheel. Some time I spray the cleaner before water-wash it helps to clean more. Afterwards, I lube the chain back at home.
Regarding Chain rusting: I never faced such issue even if I forget to lube it for a month. Can anyone suggest me "Best" chain lube which stays for longer period?

                    1. Learn clutchless gear shifting. I think combination of a little preloading+throttle blip works best. There are tons of YouTube video for it.
                    2. Rave over 6K-7.5K in 4th grear after proper warmup, let say after running more than 6 Km. Then You will realize you are sitting on mad bull . It also helps to dust of carbon deposits and make bike lighter. Keep going till you will know when you are stressing the engine (don't tough red line untill you know what are you doing).

That was pretty informative [emoji2]. Thanks! Can I start to rev my bike from now. I've covered 2k kms on my machine. So far so good.[emoji16] Minor niggles though livable.
I've been giving occasional bursts though, not abusive, but at times Hyderabad traffic demands you to. I still feel the gearbox hasn't settled yet. It's pretty responsive at times and at times gets hard and feels like I'm doing harm to the gearbox.
l'd be very grateful if you don't mind letting me know when you're planning to get your next service done, so that we can have a meet up at the SVC and you can suggest me or help me clear few doubts[emoji3] and if required I can get it serviced at that instance. Thanks again!

Thanks for the info. I've tried Liqui Molly fuel injection cleaner in mine few days ago.(hope it worked on the carb too, as the job is to clean deposits) I felt it worked, but the effect didn't last much long [emoji52], only till the tank range though it mentioned 2k kms per addition. I don't think these additives will make much difference in bumper to bumper traffic where most of us use our bikes.
If the effect of the product suggested by you lasts long, please help with the range and if you have been using your bike in heavy traffic conditions.

currently i am using this product i will update once i am done, also these products are not meant to be used every time, may be llike for every 5k or even more. i suspected carbon deposits on my valves because of wrong air and fuel mixer setting done by SVC when i complained about pickup. lets hope this product will solve our problem.

You can call me Ashwanth. Ask them to correct chain alignment.

Yes, you can send another mail to Honda asking assist in a SVC nearby where you stay. We can get the vehicle serviced/rectified in any *authorized* service center.
