Any idea how it was fixed?

Check for headlight beam if it's throwing high away from the ground when you get the pdi done. However, if your purpose is for commuting in the city most of the time, hero launched xtreme 200r at almost same or lesser price than hornet abs. I'm not much sure of the pricing but it is somewhere lesser than hornet as per few updates on the internet. Take a test ride of both of them and decide which one suits you better.
Xtreme abs is 98k onroad in assam, whereas hornet abs is 1.07 lakhs onroad assam

Yes. He loosened the center of the trilock fork set, then the intermittent nuts below in mid length of the forks, then pushed them up and down and retightened them. He quoted that they're unevenly tightened at the time of delivery. I've ridden after the service and it was fine. But I still can't comment if it was completely resolved as my bike is being ridden by my dad at my native for the first 2k kms as he takes very good care and goes smooth on the engine[emoji5]. I didn't get a chance to ride again in the past 10 days. I'll get it with me from the next week and update you if I get to face the issue again.

I've noticed that immediately after the oil change the gearbox is a bit clunky. First oil change was done at 750 kms. After around 100 kms it was starting to get smooth. Most of the rides on it are for short straights like 5 kms atmost with 10 to 15 kms at a stretch on weekends. So, I can't comment much on the smoothness of the gearbox. But, second oil change was done on 1300 kms during the Honda recall after which again the gearbox seemed clunky for 50 kms or so. Now it feels better again. But, as I've told the rides on it are pretty short. So, it feels clunky at times and smooth at times. I'll be having a 150 kms ride next weekend. I'll update you after it. It covered 1500 kms as of now.

Thanks for the reply. Senior hornet riders says that after 3k kilometers everything will be fine . Do you own the abs variant. Here's my bike . In my case when my bike is just ridden after warmup gearbox feels smooth, but after the engine gets hot gearbox slightly becomes harder. And, yes immediately after changing oil engine feels slightly rough but after 30kilometres on new oil it becomes smooth, i will try tvs synthetic oil after my 3rd service and see the results.Click image for larger version

Yes, gearbox takes a few odd thousand kms to settle. Probably by 5000 kms and we can't comment on mineral oil as it's characteristics are suitable to such high compression engines only for the first initial engine run in. I think everything gets in line once we get to use semi / fully synthetic. I own the CBS variant. I'm not much into ABS[emoji5]. I know it's a must to have abs. It's a life saver in wet circumstances, but CBS is just fine with me. I'm planning to spend the excess on a good riding jacket. Blue looks cool with the new front LED headlight. Happy riding!!

I have faced this issue 3 time in first year of purchase. However, never faced after that.
I believe it's only vapor lock issue. Happens out of blue.
After 1st time, when bike stopped I got frustrated for 5 min in scorching heat.
Next, I just stopped the bike, open the tank cap. wait for a minute and crank the kick. All good.

I am not on Facebook. You can reply them.

Really, nowadays companies can't be trusted anymore. I have decided to shift to indian companies; as a result of which, i have bought tvs jupiter and not honda activa recently. I request all of you to buy vehicles from indian companies like tvs, whose fit and finish is far better than honda. Recently checked xtreme 200 and rtr 160 4v and found quality levels much higher than honda.

I disagree with this, india companies are even wrose, may be outer look and finish is better but for long term use engine and other parts quality is impotant body parts and finish is good to have but not important than engine.

I think on a safe side yamaha is best among Japanese companies
