Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I don't know about it, but honda has recalled all 2018 xblade and hornet, (in assam ) theyre opening the gears and inspecting if there's any defects.Originally posted by mac4rfree View PostIs it there across India or part of it regular check up?

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Could you please check with your dealer once what the issue is, so that I'll cross check with my dealer. I've been called to check for magnetic lock once and sent back. They just checked the key and lock by turning on/off and gave back the bike. If they're supposed to check mine too as you've mentioned, I'll check with them.Originally posted by #bpk View PostI don't know about it, but honda has recalled all 2018 xblade and hornet, (in assam ) theyre opening the gears and inspecting if there's any defects.

Did they fix any issue or said it's all fine after verification, because in my bike they didn't do anything and just returned back.Originally posted by #bpk View PostThe dealer told that its a inspection of internal parts as directed by honda 2 wheelers india .

They opened the gearbox measured the gear teeth using a small tool, pour new engine oil free of cost.Originally posted by winturf99 View PostDid they fix any issue or said it's all fine after verification, because in my bike they didn't do anything and just returned back.

Thank you for the update. I'll check with my dealer and call to honda customer service in front of them if they reject it.Originally posted by #bpk View PostThey opened the gearbox measured the gear teeth using a small tool, pour new engine oil free of cost.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
The wires/cables might offer some resistance if not routed properly or if they get stuck somewhere, may be they lost a cable tie. If all that is ok, the steering race bearing needs to be checked - on some early batches of Hornet, this was an issue.Originally posted by vaRider View PostGuys handlebar is turning more towards right easily than on left.. what might be the issue?

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I have a peculiar problem with my new hornet, at about 650 kilometers , the gearbox became smooth but now at 713 kilometers the gearbox has again become hard. Oil has been changed 2 times during this period. My foot pains while shifting [emoji22][emoji22]

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I have not got any mentionable problems on my older 2005 Unicorn (1,15000 km- 11 years) and 2016 Hornet (12,600 km till now). Maybe I am lucky!Originally posted by raaz321 View Postto be frank i lost trust in honda , i brought activa125, hornet 2017 model both are shit always gives problems , i will never buy honda, i brought these 2 just believing their brand name and planned to use these for long time but with in 8 months of usage i am done with honda shit
