Yes I recommend installing some good quality auxillary lamps and make sure it shouldn't make much load on your bike battery..
Stock headlight won't throw a good light...

Hi Gowtham , your bike was smooth from day 1 from delivery or it got smooth from 5k kilometers?

From Day 1, but I think after making more services it becomes more matured in refinement...

Yeah, currently i have covered 2700 kilometers and after every 100 kilometers refinement is increasing. I wish my bike becomes as smooth as yours. [emoji4][emoji4]

Copy pasting my yesterday's post again FYR...

Recently I made chain lube for a long trip along with proper fitting of chain, after that I was riding in mid range and I felt sooo good about engine smoothness (more smoother than normal) and it made me think, is any sub 200cc motorbike there with such a kind of smoothness...

Also the response for acceleration in low RPM was good compared to normal times...

Took the delivery and I cross checked couple of times turning to high beam to make sure the light is on. Where does the auxiliary light fit in? Should i just ask the dealership to fix this for me. Any recommendations on which one to get?

                Other driving observations.

It seems less powerful and makes it hard to look during night. Bike felt the same way during my test drive. Drive some 20 odd km in b2b traffic and bike seems to respond very well. Power is little less in low rpm but seems decent and didn't frustrate me. Driving comfort was good. I got false neutrals a few times and low gear shift seems hard. Not sure it will be better as the days go on . Ground clearance is very good and seems to eat those small mountains on the hyd roads.
Will take it to highways tomorrow and give it a run.

Have a highway ride u will enjoy it... Hornet got a highway soul. Cruising in midrange of 60 to 100 is the best part of hornet.

Regarding auxillary lamps, u can fix in leg guards or sidewards of headlight ..it depends on ur need...

About light brand, I don't have much idea..just ask the internet, u can find answer...

Don't go for cheap ones'. Inquire in local market. You need to find right shop. Most of the shops will try to sell cheap chinese products.
For my father's Hero Glamour I went to local market (Varanasi), I got Xenon HID (1700), from

It's pure white light and seems great. It's easy to fit .
I am thinking to install this kind of HID.

thanks, I will take a look at these after first service. One noob question since I haven't driven bikes for more than a decade, being a little rusty. Just wanted to know what's the max rpm and speed i can hit until first few services? I am driving around max 4500 rpm and around 60kmph max. is this too less or too much on a new bike? Also when is that i can take it to high range?

Just ride as you'll naturally do. Under 5k rpm and you should be fine. Even occasional 7k rpm while overtaking won't do any harm. Just don't rip the engine.

Maintain Max of 60kmph till first service..don't raise further and till first 2,3 services try mostly to make a decent (non harsh ride).. it will be helpful in longevity of Engine life...

Speed does not matter, its the RPMs thats important

Ride naturally, sometimes ride in 70 kmph in 5th gear, engine will be free soon. I rode the bike (2018 model)with very light throttle, as a result of which the engine took long time to set in.
