Hornet feels more powerful and is cheaper to maintain than fzs due to absence of FI. Both are good bikes, take a test ride and decide [emoji106]

      Thanks !
You had quite a lot of problems with the hornet right. I have been reading this thread from a time. Is it very common in hornet users to have problems related to the chain and vibrations ?

Every bike needs a proper maintenance to deliver a better handling and performance. Not All are perfect!!!
BTW book a test ride and choose the wiser one.

No don't suggest gixxer , it has engine oil consumption issue, many people have faced it.

Many 1604v from TVS have camshaft, rear disc brake and silencer noise problems. Good to stay away from that too.

Yeah, thankfully Hornet/ Xblade doesn't have such issues [emoji4]

I didn't mean it literally. We have to take those Youtube videos with a pinch of salt. Better to speak with Tbhp, Xbhp and friends who own before making a decision. The moment I see a "The day I got angry and shouted at taxiwala" type of video, I run away from that Youtube channel as fast as I can.

Hornet and Xblade are not selling as much as they deserve. Hope HMSI brings in more cool colors, a snazzy speedometer with GPI with the 2020 Fi versions. Hondas are like cats - they have 9 lives but one has to look after them like a queen.

Hehe, i know him ,he likes to do experiment with bikes. I know you have soft spot for suzuki as u own GS . I will end it here . Nothing can replace the GS and Unicorn 150 in 150cc segment. Modern 150cc segment bikes are full of various engine related issues.

Hornet, When they launched such a promising bike with price tag of 1Lakh and they tried to save money via
                                1. Not giving Kill Switch
                                2. Cheap "looking" switch gears
                                3. The same 30 year old handle bar
                                4. Cheap 1 Rupee handle bar end
Just a couple of thousand cosmetic changes, it would have been such great bike looking great from distant and great feeling while riding.
Don't know what kind of mindset they have.

TVS RTR or Pulsar series feels so great when you look closely. Honda bikes are just cheap. Specially, switches and handlebar end.

Otherwise, no doubt, a regularly maintained Honda bikes run for years (More than others) without any issue.
