Just a couple of thousand cosmetic changes, it would have been such great bike looking great from distant and great feeling while riding.
Don't know what kind of mindset they have.

TVS RTR or Pulsar series feels so great when you look closely. Honda bikes are just cheap. Specially, switches and handlebar end.

Otherwise, no doubt, a regularly maintained Honda bikes run for years (More than others) without any issue.
    Absolutely true [emoji106]

Yes, among the japs, HMSI vehicles look a bit boring and lesser VFM. Only after so many years, Honda finally gave a engine kill switch on middle-class affordable BS6 Activa 125. HMSI is greedy and wants a higher profit margin here. The Unicorn in Pakistan gets colored calipers, GPI, colored shox and nice instrumentation.

Actually I didn't like the styling of the Gixxer, specially the alloy design.

Also pillion seat is useless, and it's a 150cc commuter motorcycle not R15 or MT to be that sporty [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Mileage update after putting Michelin Pilot Street Radial Tyres (Rear: 140 and Front: 110): 40Kmph.

This includes 200Km of high speed 80-95 km, 30km ghats roads and rest city traffic.

Didn't measured exactly but, overall 45 in city conditions of crowdy office commute.

Verdict: Negligible mileage drop with Pilot Street.

That's a really good figure TBH. I put Zapper FX 100/80-17 front and MRF RevZ 140/80-17 rear on my friend's Hornet. He gets 45-47kmpl (60% highway and 40% city) when riding at speeds of 70-80ish at max.

These tyres are similar as I checked the harness rating are same as stock one. I guess that's why there no effect on mileage.
Pilot Street is just sweet and appreciable at every corner.

Am getting a mileage of nearly 40kmpl, which I feel is low. My daily commute is typical bangalore congested traffic route of around 14km that includes a lott gear shifts, applying brakes.

Before I used to get atleast 42kmpl in the same route, now it is getting lowered., So what could be the reason?

                    Odo reading is 25000

My ODO reading is close to 18600 and i also ride in the similar boat, commuting through congested traffic. I usually get 42 to 40 kmpl. I tried reaching atleast 45 but could never succeed.

In congested traffic 40Kmph is enough when 60% riding is under 3rd gear.

Just wondering, if a decent mileage producing hornet itself givn 40kmpl on congested traffic..
What could be the case with RR310, CBR250, gixxer250, Mt15, REs and the KTM390., even though most of the above mentioned are touring, performance focussed , ppl who bought them has to commute with it for the school, college , workplace...

Take it on highways and maintain the speed range under 85kmph... You will get t around 50kmpl

I once tried in the range of 45 to 50kmph without much of gear/brakes.. got an amazing mileage of around 55kmpl
