I never faced such problem from past 24,000 km.

One thing happened few days back that after washing my bike I noticed the breather pipe detached, for this I changed the engine oil also but still the problem.

    Please help.

This doesn't happen when I park bike in the shade.

    Please help!!!
With the breather hose detached, the intake would suck in muck and dirt from the outside due to path of least resistance not to mention higher velocity due to smaller opening, this could mess up your carburetor if lucky and mess up your valve seats or cylinder if not.

You could start by cleaning the carburetor but before that I'd be more interested in finding whether the float bowl or the fuel tank has any water in it. Then again this could simply be a minor vapor lock.

Possibilities are many, start from the easiest fix and work your way around, start by keeping the motorcycle in the sunlight and then opening tank lid for a few seconds before trying to start it, if issue vanishes then its just a vapor lock, if not then try the next option.

Edit: On motorcycles with considerable mileage/age it is best to change manifolds when taking the carburetor off, they're cheap and saves you a lot of trouble in the future.

Brother I detached the breather hose and then started the engine, the breather pipe is exhaling air from there, so dust won't have entered the engine area.
I have checked it again after opening the fuel lid but the problem persists.
      Hoping solution soon.

I was referring to the other end of the tube that's connected to the Air Filter box. With the engine running when you open throttle there would be negative pressure within the air box, hence air would he sucked into the carburetor bypassing the filter element.

If you don't get it simply take a closer look at your air box.

I have opened up the air filter box, there is some oil there and very little light dust which I have removed by vacuum cleaner.

Did you find a fix for this? Yesterday after changing mine to honda throttle 10w30 from motul 7100 i had this strange engine burning smell. Is this normal or is there anything to be taken care of?

Little backstory, i bought a second hand hornet (orange grey colour) for ₹55k 2017 model with 24k run in. Its a moded hornet with Cnc tailtidy, closed chain from 2018s hornet, Ns 200s switch gear , sidemirror and rear tyre hugger, Ktms Handguard, Led Headlight, As 200s Windshield (thinking of changing to Fazer's windshield). The bike is in great shape except that the fibre parts(matte black tank fibre and the rear lights holder) matte colour has started lossing the colour.(is there a workaround to restore the colour?)

I bought the bike 2nd hand and it had 24k km on it. I ran just 30-40 km after the oil change. So its Normal and nothing to worry r8!?

                      Hi guys,
My bike fell down and handlebar bended.
I cannot ride the bike properly, service center staff said they only have 2018 model handlebar and they don't know if it fits in to old model.

Is there any difference in both models??
                      Should i buy it?

The bike got a facelift in 2018. If yours is a 2019 model, then the handlebar is same. Even the 2015 and 2017 models had the same handlebars. Switchgears are the only thing changed. Also, this handlebar was first offered on CBZ Xtreme.

If the holes of switch gears are the same and will fit the old ones, then get it. Only handle switchgears have been changed since the old model. Handle isn't.

Recently made a trip from Bangalore to Ooty in my hornet..
While coming back, on climbing down ooty _was riding in a intense rain

Though the roads are slippery, I felt like hornet tyres skidded more on applying brakes at even some 50kmph...is it normal?

The stability is great on straight roads,
While cornering Tyre grips are not confident inspiring

So is changing the Tyre with more grip than the stock tyres is an ideal option?

Yes, has happened to me a lot of times. It's under 60kmph though. I'm good till 50.

This is the one part where Gixxer wins. I've had my friend change his stock tyres with the Gixxer ones. They have a far better grip. And yes, they are MRF ones (revz m/y). Or else:
