What's the ultimate solution then, apart from getting used to it?
Try o ring chain of 2018 hornet model.

Does your model come fitted with the particular chain?

After getting fed up of less pick up due to chain slack, I had decided to buy a new chain sprocket.
So two months ago, I installed Rolon's HBS 229 chain (12400Kms on ODO), which is specially made for Hornet.
Since then I clocked only 700kms and guess what, I've already tightened the chain two times.
And I will have to do it again, for the third time this week.
I don't think it is normal by any means if I have to tighten the chain three times within 700kms.
What am I supposed to do now?
            Try one more chain socket?
            Try the 2018 Hornet's o ring chain/sprocket set.

Hi all clocked 2800kms on Odo, past few days facing engine vibrations post 50km/Hr and 5K rpm, any suggestions what might be wrong?

Also some kind of weird burnt smell from engine- usd to smell a lot when the bike was new, reduced now but still smells when the ride is done.

Same problem, i am also facing, visited honda svc, but they said it's normal, it'll become smooth after 3k kilometers [emoji22]

My daily commute is mostly in city with moderate traffic. But today i went for solo ride to highway constantly cruising around 70-80km/hr on 5th gear i noticed fuel efficiency is dropped by 5-6kmpl. Is that normal ? Or i should i take it to svc for this? My odometer reads 5.1k kms

Lets see, they keep on telling the same, if after 3k if still persist will write to Honda.

Its quite normall, fuel efficiency drips on Higher speeds 5-6 is very negligible and can be ignored !!! cheers!!

It's normal, how's your engine refinement in 5k kilometers

Very much smooth and less vibration as compared to before even at higher speed. U can actually enjoy refinement of honda post 5k kms.

No, I'm not talking about the chain noise.
Infact, with this rolon chain, the chain noise is reduced to a great extent.

Be happy and a reason will come along !

2018 o ring chains are very silent, it doesn't have any sound, even if you ride without helmet( one should always wear helmet )

One thing about hornet which I always realize is , it got the good refined aggressive power, but for experiencing it u just have to roll on few low RPMs that's it..
It's super smooth midrange, super handling, super seating position, beast look never fails to excite me as a daily commuter as well highway tourer...

It's so called less power in low RPM, won't be a big issue if u got habitual with it (if u know to make proper gear shifts in low RPMs).. daily am commuting to office (15km) in dense traffic with much ease..,

In short, its a beast having highway soul in a label of commuter bike...
