      Hello All,

I have a weird problem on my bike since I have bought it.

The problem is this that bike on cold engine misfires a lot until the engine is completely warmed up.
If I warm it up for some time then also I could feel misfires at lower speeds.

Now in these summer days also I need to pull the choke to start the bike.

I am also having Suzuki GS150R also but it never needs to be warmed up and no misfires are there.
Even in extreme cold, it starts on single self and ready to go.

Current ODO reading is 15000 km.

      Please Help!!

I checked the chain slack, chain lubrication, and roted the wheel on main stand but didnot notice any sound. After reporting to service center they lubricated the swingarm bearing and wheel bearing, and the sound had gone, but after 2 days again the sound has come while lifting my bike from side stand. Is my swingarm bearing are damaged, please help me [emoji22][emoji22]
The axle bolt touches the Saree guard and creates sound when the rear suspension gets compressed. Pull the Saree guard outwards away from the rear wheel/axle bolt. This should solve the problem.

I'm using Motul 7100 10W40 for my hornet. Is it good? My odo is at 4200+. And about the chain noise. Sometimes it's too annoying. I'm using servo gear oil SAE90 for lubrication. Is it ok to use?

Yours may be an one off case. Hope ASC rectifies it. I did not have such issues in my older Unicorn and current Hornet.

Gradewise 10W40 engine oil seems to be better than 10W30 engine oil. I am using Yamalube Sporty Premium fully synthetic 10W40 engine oil in my Hornet and the bike feels better till now(1k km). Long term effect is not known. It also costs as little as Rs. 405 for 1litre.
I am also using Servo gear oil SAE 90 and chain life has increased considerably. No need for frequent tightening. Cleaning the chain properly before lubrication is necessary for longer life. This heavy oil is way too better as compared to used/new SAE 10W30 oil.

Motul costs me ₹770 per litre. Fully synthetic. Bike feels smoother than before. Gearbox is smoother than before. But chain noise still annoys me.

Is it okey to use ngk dual electrode spark plug in my Hornet? I'm using this, and the engine feels more smooth...

Now I'm thinking about to dump the Honda Genuine engine oil. But there's a lot of products available out there, resulting to some confusions! [emoji51]
                      Advice needed.

P.S.- The ASC guys told me, no matter what, I must stick to Honda Genuine engine oil, or else, the warranty could be void. Any words about this?!? [emoji849]Click image for larger version

Don't worry. You can use Motul 7100 fully synthetic or the Motul 5100 from the above image. My hornet's odo is on 4300+ and I'm using motul 7100 fully synthetic. Performance will get better than honda oil. You will feel it.

Yes, it is as annoying as sound. But they impose this this condition.
Any way, you can use Honda Throttle (CBR 250 FS) oil. It is well priced and works very well.

I recently used a 2015 CB Hornet. Had some doubts about the bike. The throttle seems bit too lose and feels out of control even on the 2nd gear. Feels like it drags the bike a bit too much on release. Doesn't feel safe. Also, the bite from the rear drum brake isn't enough and is a bit too lose. Anyone else facing these issues? I didn't feel safe at all when riding this bike as compared to a FZ and Gixxer.

This blue is a beautiful color. Is your swingarm issue finally resolved ? Can you take a pic of the ABS modulator if it is possible. I think it should be somewhere under the tank or near the battery. Wishing you many happy miles.
