Try once at Vaishnoi Honda, Kondpur. They have good mechanics but service is again not good. You need to talk to them.Originally posted by rkurre View PostHI which SC is best in Honda? There is Hormony Honda, BHEL neaby my place but they are also not careless.

Matter of the fact, again I had to go Vaishnoi Honda for servicing. I asked them not to include any useless charges. Let's see in evening.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostHonda Service: This time I had worst experience.
Place: Vaishnoi Honda - Kondapur - Hyderabad Telangana
8:30 am: I dropped vehicle at service station and come back to office. They checked and note down. I said clearly, check for carburetor , change engine oil honda throttle and do chain adjustment. Service guy told he will calling by after-noon and let me know the final estimate and changes and when the vehicle would be ready.
3:30 pm : Since no-one called, I called him and he told that it would take another hour hour.
5:00 pm: I reached to service center and saw bike is parked and water washed. I though service is done. On inquiry on counter, lady dialed to workshop and told it would take another 5-10 min. This happened twice.
5:30 pm: One guy took the bike workshop. I smell something fishy. I followed a couple minutes later, only to find out they didn't serviced the bike yet. Bike was on stand another guy preparing to change the oil. When I asked twice what about rest servicing and did you clean out carburetor or not. He told that they yet to service the bike they never clean carburetor unless there is some big issue with the bike. I mean the WTF, what is point of servicing when you don't even check for minor thing. I get clear feel that, these crooks just wash and change the engine oil and give the bike back.
I didn't kept the calm just wanted to finish whatever service, don't know if I shout they will mess up with bike.
7:00 pm: Another Crooked business while paying bill. I saw I got billed for Chain lube 135/- and another 20/- for nitrogen air. WTF. I told him that I didn't say to lube or clean the chain. Why I am getting paid? He said it's part of service package.
I had my earlier servicing from same service center but they added this unethical practice this time only. I over heard an uncle, who free serviced his new Scooty and got billed for nitrogen air.
I thought, I can trust big service center, but this is completely illegal business. I am writing this to service center and Honda.
I also giving the link of this post in email. So they can see what customers are thinking.
If you see that -
- Unethically charging customer without knowledge.
- Bad servicing by service center.
- Even if vehicle given on time. Making a customer wait for 2 hours.

I believe, service centers only waterwash vehicles unless specifically asked what to do.Last edited by anoopkumar0; 01-24-2019, 05:08 PM.------------------

Even if you ask them to do something they don't. It's really ridiculous.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostTry once at Vaishnoi Honda, Kondpur. They have good mechanics but service is again not good. You need to talk to them.

Without removing that there is no way to access the pilot screw can't even see it.
If you want to move the EVAP, disconnect all hoses going to the canister and try moving it towards front wheel - you may need to free the TPS and starter wires if necessary.
This guy is able to do it without moving the canister much.

That was my best guess about pilot screw at fault. But anyways I couldn't reach it...I was following this same video.Originally posted by ashwanth.r View PostAnd are you sure pilot screw setting is at fault? There are other reasons given in the Shop Manual for Erratic/Poor idling.

I went to ASC and asked them specifically to only tune the carburetor telling them the idling is uneven. After service they told me they cleaned the carb and probably tuned it too because that was my request. Now I feel the difference. The idling has become very smooth and vibration has also reduced. Previously it felt like the bike struggled to pick up now its like a breeze. So after all the problem was with carburetor.

How is the idling when you start the engine cold or for that matter 2-3 hours after a ride ?Originally posted by elviento View PostThat was my best guess about pilot screw at fault. But anyways I couldn't reach it...I was following this same video.

Previously even after ride if the bike would sit for half an hour also it starts with ignition but in a few seconds it dies out like gasping for fuel. Now it doesn't die out easily. If left idle, it remains idle and doesn't shut down.Last edited by elviento; 01-24-2019, 09:26 PM.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Guys, can u tell me the exact Tyre pressure which we have to maintain for the front and rear Tyre of hornet... In average all the petrol bunks are filling front 26 and rear 30. And some are filling excess like front_30 , Rear_40 and some others like F_26 , R_36... Due to this excess air pressure the cracks are formed in the Tyre when we hit bumps
