Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Also, changed the parking light to Osram .5w LED. So, bike got 5w spare.Originally posted by gowthamh View PostWill it be effective in highways..?
Does it affect battery?
For Hornet, if we change both parking lights, we will get 9W spare, enough for 45w.
I don't think any headlamp would be sufficient for highway / >70 speed. Aux with spot beam would be best.------------------

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
What about for the guy who is almost double your size?Originally posted by Bismaya View PostThe front & rear pressures should be strictly maintained. Splendor tyre pressure (Plus & Pro; rear) is about 36 PSI (2.75 inch tyre) and that of Super Splendor is 41 PSI (3 Inch section tyre). But Hornet uses a rather thicker tyre and any pressure above 29 PSI on the strict will make the bike jumpy and feel more stiff (unless you're heavy like #bpk); not to mention that you won't get the optimal road grip and braking traction. I weigh about 60kgs and when the Hornet was new, my friend used to fill 35 PSI, which is absolutely wrong. There's a reason why sizes vary for different tyres. Next time, just read the owners manual and play safe. Tyre pressure will always vary with weather. You can fill 30 or 31 PSI instead of 29 just to be safe, but a mark of 35 or anything higher than the recommended size will just reduce the tyre life. So, next time pay heed to this guys. Tyre pressure are really important and are not to be ignored.

Get bigger bike [emoji38] . Pun!!Originally posted by FreeSpiritedBiker View PostWhat about for the guy who is almost double your size?
I use Hornet with pillion (total: 135Kg) 30/32 all the time and fill back when looses to 26/29. Also, putting more air just make bike jumpy and less breaking power. I feel perfect control when riding pillion.------------------

VIBRATION UPDATE:
So finally met Mr. Anoopam Das sir. He's a very nice, helpful and knowledgeable person. I showed him my bike, and he didn't find any vibrations in my bike and told me that my bike is perfectly normal. I revved his bike too and found to be of same smoothness, for reference he owns 2016 model with 15.6 bhp with cbs. Maybe i am too sensitive [emoji23][emoji23].
What a relief now [emoji4][emoji4]. He also gave me important lessons about maintenance of my motorcycle, which included minute details about keyring selection too! He chatted long enough about upcoming bikes and i really enjoyed talking to him.
NOTE: if i change my bike in near future, will not mean that i disrespect you [MENTION=6472]anoop[/MENTION]am Das sir. I will always be a part of HORNET community.
Thanks......

Fill the cut with feviqwik, add some sand, repeat the procedure until the cut is completely filled. I have seen this procedure at tyre repair shop. How long it lasts I have no idea, but the tyre repairers say it lasts.Originally posted by Rohit3235 View PostAny pointer on this?

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Your update sent a vibration up my spine. Glad to know it's normal (may be it is resonance and happens only within a range of RPM, no company/rider can eliminate it 100%). I wish I had your level of energy and excitementOriginally posted by #bpk View PostVIBRATION UPDATE:
