The front & rear pressures should be strictly maintained. Splendor tyre pressure (Plus & Pro; rear) is about 36 PSI (2.75 inch tyre) and that of Super Splendor is 41 PSI (3 Inch section tyre). But Hornet uses a rather thicker tyre and any pressure above 29 PSI on the strict will make the bike jumpy and feel more stiff (unless you're heavy like #bpk); not to mention that you won't get the optimal road grip and braking traction. I weigh about 60kgs and when the Hornet was new, my friend used to fill 35 PSI, which is absolutely wrong. There's a reason why sizes vary for different tyres. Next time, just read the owners manual and play safe. Tyre pressure will always vary with weather. You can fill 30 or 31 PSI instead of 29 just to be safe, but a mark of 35 or anything higher than the recommended size will just reduce the tyre life. So, next time pay heed to this guys. Tyre pressure are really important and are not to be ignored.

It's fine it just air moisture trying to evaporate from inside. I have seen it some times.Originally posted by Rohit3235 View Post
Has any one faced such moist issues inside meter console?
I also use 28f 32r. Fits perfectly for with pillion rider (Total: 135Kg)Originally posted by A_Krazy_Katam View PostI fill 28 front 32 rear as till i reach any of the air pumps the tyre gets hot or else the bike gets wobbly
Some times pressure won't go down even after 4 weeks. This time, it's over 6 weeks and I am too lazy to stand in queue.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Always stick to the manual. 25F and 30R should do the job. I used to run on the IndianOil's 35 and 40 until I thought of trying the manual's recommendation. Grip and mileage are excellent as per the manual's suggestion, never ever going back.Originally posted by adityagaur51 View PostHey guys had anyone cleaned their centrifugal oil filter... If so can they tell about the tools required...???
I have previously cleaned the stainer screen by myself so i am looking forward to do the same for centrifugal filter...I meditate as I ride to find a place to sit and meditate.

29-30PSI is still good enough considering the size of the tyres. I'm about 60kgs and even with the recommended pressure in manual being as low as 29PSI, the bike bounches on some hard rumblers, due to my low weight ofcourse. It'll suit a heavier rider like yourself really well. My friend who owns the Hornet is about 82kgs and he has no issues riding on the recommended tyre pressure. The bike pulls with ease, even with both of us sitting.Originally posted by #bpk View PostI weigh nearly 80 kgs, please suggest me rear tire pressure for my hornet[My Motorcycles]

, Superb bags. I also have it.
How are you avoiding right bag going touching tyre?
I had to fasten two bungee cords, around tail lamp at hooks of footpeg. But For long tour it's not that durable.Last edited by anoopkumar0; 11-20-2018, 06:31 PM.------------------

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Is that specifically for Hornet or for all motorcycles?Originally posted by Rohit3235 View Post35 is too high for rear. Anything above 32 for rear could result in de gradation of tyre much earlier. On the worst it can affect you suspension as well.
