I had the document and others there the whole time. In the last two years, I've never faced an issue. I will check if it's dislodged or something that might block the air inlet.

As of now, I didn't face any issue today morning. Rode around 12 km. I didn't change anything too.

I have faced is trice so far.

When bike stalls completely, just open the fuel cap and close it after a few second.
Don't get mad. Use kick to start, it should start within a 2-3 kicks.
Interesting. Never knew about it. Will keep that in mind if the situation repeats.

I removed the seat to check, and I found that the first aid kit that comes with the bike was not in its place and was very close to the air inlet. Maybe during the time I experienced the issue, the inlet was blocked. It must have moved when I stopped the bike. I believe that was the reason for the issue. I really hope the issue doesn't repeat.

Same thing happened to me after 2 days of bike delivery. The way I kept the documents was not proper. after 2 kilometre of ride, bike engine stopped and smoke from silencer. I become so panic and angry because it's a very new bike. I called the service centre and shouted to them. they departed from the service centre. I checked the air filter portion and find out the issue. when the service centre guy came, i said it resolved itself. [emoji16]

I'm glad the issue was quite trivial. A point to remember if something like this happens again in the future.

            Happens with most of people.
Once my brother, after cleaning the bike told me the issue with bike not going more than 100 meter and lots of smoke. I went to parking and told him to leave it, we will go ASC in morning. Then, asked him, where is the cleaning cloth. He firmly placed it in hole of air filter

                Wow, congrats bud.
I don't know why people hate this bike. It's awsome for its kind if you get to know her.

                    For cold engine:

IN: 0.08 mm and EX: 0.24 mm. Both can be plus or minus 0.02.

                    Edit 1: Welcome to xBhp.
Edit 2: If the feeler gauge set doesn't have a 0.24 mm leaf, a suitable combo can be used (0.20+0.04 or 0.16+0.08).

While cleaning the bike today, I noticed a small hole under the box shaped part in exhaust system exactly under the bike where the header pipe joins to. ( I don't know what exactly it is) I can feel the exhaust gas similar to what you feel when your place your palm against the exhaust outlet. This hole is in the bottom front section. There is something like a welded plug parallel to this hole on the bottom rear part of that box. Is this a breather hole? I think it is previously welded close and now open when the underbelly got accidently hit on some bumps???

Water drain hole, normal and present in all vehicles. That box shaped part is the lowest part in the exhaust system, so the hole is placed there. About the other thing - a pic in decent lighting will help.

Applied the new gasket with the help of anabond gasket sealant with thin layer on both surfaces of cover as well as case... The gasket seemed a good quality one ... Maybe cardboard or tin... Don't know but definitely not thin paper type gasket...

You did not mention about the centrifugal filter cleaning. Did you clean it?

The parts catalogue of Hornet, Unicorn 150 and CBZ Extreme (2011 Edition catalogue) all mention "15459-KWK-900" for that gasket. If not able to get from HMSI at 12k, get it from Hero.

Guys I observed the bike sounds great with the air filter cover removed. It is more like when we place a different air filter with base sound. Can some tell. Me. How this is going to effect the bike performance without the air filter cover.
