Actually I don't like RE kind of designed bikes...
Am looking for naked bikes (hornet kind of design)
Then fz25 is the best option. Dominar 400 and Duke 250 are also good.

Cool, I will keep them in considerations , excluding ktm (lack of decent mileage)...

Ok, will try for a test drive.. but can't take it on consideration for buying, as the price goes beyond 3 lakhs and seems the mileage will be lesser than 25kmpl...

I know it's a bit costly. But no harm in test drive. Besides it introduces one to what is refinement outside of Yamaha eco system.

Thank you guys for all your suggestions on my question,
I got the ideas. And seems this off-topic overshadows the purpose of this thread..
So, lets give way for the HORNET discussions... #hornethood

Actually I like the design, features of my hornet 160R... Only thing that makes me little worried is its lesser low end grunt...

Hope, one day Honda will produce a hornet 250cc (like Yamaha made fz150 -->fz250) that overcome this low power issue... In that case, am ready to exchange my 160cc and will upgrade to that 250cc...

Hope Honda will make such a move....

Am not sure if FZ25's engine is based on FZ16. 16 and 25 is just Yamaha's nomenclature to denote the engine cc. Honda cannot bring a 250cc Hornet because the CBR tag has a good reputation. They will not replace it with Hornet or sell both side by side.

One motorcycle that is based on the Hornets engine but bigger is the CB190R which is Fi but only air cooled. It can slot inbetween those 150-160cc and 250cc CBR. Again, they wont bring it unless it will sell and make them profit.

May be 2 things can be expected in future for the current Hornet. Addition of Fi and a gear position indicator. Some new colors. Am doubtful whether they will even tinker and give an oil cooler.

Fz 25 is based on a offroad motorcycle named xt 250

Looks like there are more replies not related to Honda CB Hornet 160R, which this thread is meant for... May be slight off topic related to other bikes comparing Hornet is good. But not too many responses here. There are threads for each of those bikes.

                              Hello Folks,
From past few days i had observed the Sound quality of horn is been weaken.
literally sounding like an old Auto rickshaw which is quite embarrassing
Hornet has be best sounding horn with a crisp and sharp tone i used to love that sharpness.
Ps : Bike is 4 months old

Check whether the wire terminals near the horn is loose. Or it may have been due to accumulation of moisture or water inside the Horn.
