CBR 250 is a beast when it revs above 4k RPM.

Dude, same thing is the case for our hornet rite.. I admit hornet is best in mid,top range, but low RPM is the one which we used to ride mostly on, in that case am looking for engine which is very responsive for acceleration in low, mid, top RPMs...

You want an upgrade from the hornet? Good engine for long tours? Mileage of 40 if driven @90 kph on highways? Welcome the CBR 250 to your list. Abs, simple, refined engine, excellent tourer. The 310 or Dominar won't give you good mileage. Cheaper parts than the 310, less vibey. It does 0-100 in 8.x seconds. Much better than hornets timing.

How about engine pick up till 45kmph...? because that's where hornet lacks punch....

Yeah! One thing is for sure that honda products maynot be vfm, but they provide ultimate reliability. They perform till their last breaths. If you want no problem bike go for honda, also cbr has best wind protection than any tourers out there. Also knowledgeable persons like you ( leech sir), i also hope to get cbr 250r to my garage one day [emoji4][emoji4]

I know you want torque right from stanstill, then you have only 2 options below 2 lakhs.
                Dominar 400 , 35nm torque @ 6500 rpm
Mojo xt 300nm @ 5500 rpm , weigh a little less than dominar. ( has dohc setup and less issues compared to dominar)

when i test rode both mojo and dominar, a slight twist of throttle made the bikes jump forward and pillion beside me grabbed my shirt in both the cases [emoji4] . Riding a torquy bike gives thrill of another level.

Yeah, after riding dominar when i rode my hornet immediately, it felt that my hornet tyre is punctured, it felt sooo lazy [emoji23][emoji23]

Yes , hornet feel sluggish till 40,45 kmph.. I don't know what to blame either its big tyres or engine design..

                            This is a kind off-topic of hornet160R...

Wanted to know your answers for this one...

Actually am a proud owner of hornet 160R and its features (except its lesser low end grunt)

Am a lover of good performance/tourer bikes,.. I like their instant response on acceleration as well engaging engine for long rides..

In future (at least not for next 3,4 years) I likes to upgrade to a bike that has performance, smooth engine as well decent mileage (at least around 40. Am looking for around 250cc engine...

So, which bike is best in your opinions that meets all my expectations,

At present, I think fz250 meets my expectations, so what do you think about it...
Wait for jawa 300cc to get launched. I think it should satisfy your requirements.
