Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Get the clutch switch checked. It tends to get worn after 20-25K KMS of running. You can just replace it with a new one. It's really cheap and can be purchased the Honda ASC.Originally posted by Parag Sharma View PostI am not able to self start my bike by engaging clutch while it is in gear. Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I think you need to open the clutch level. It's placed on the hole beside the clutch cable. It has a cable as well. I would suggest getting a mechanic to change it. You don't want to mess it up by doing it at home. My clutch switch was loose for days before it fully stopped working. You might want to check for any loose contact. I have circled the part where the clutch switch gear is connected in the below image. It's inbetween the handlebar and clutch cable.Originally posted by Parag Sharma View PostThanks for the info. Hot Weather !!Originally posted by insignificantpotato View PostRecently, engine rpm is behaving weirdly enough. It starts at 1k but as I drive it shoots up to 2.5k in ideal. Then slowly comes to 2k. What could be wrong?
