    4. Refreshing new look, sure a head turner.
    5. Seat is longer than hornet.
    6. Headlight producing good brightness (am not sure about this point, correct me if am wrong)
I have the X-Blade. Got the bike three days ago. And this are the only reasons why I choosed the X-Blade over Hornet.

You can even change to a 150/60 tyre, it'll have a similar effect.

If you blame the reason for low power in low RPM is hornet tyres, then in gixxer this is not the case(having similar kind of tyres). Also the chain getting loose frequently is an another annoying problem in hornet.
Gixxer has lower profile tyres plus a narrower rim, which results in a rounder profile.

The gearing of Hornet is overall taller, though Honda has tried to offset this by offering a shorter final drive ratio.

Both Gixxer and FZ have Revz 140/60 radials.

And, let me know the top speed of xblade, not to take risk, if you are able to, then do and let me know. In hornet I achieved 123 kmph. Will just compare the siblings

Xblade is a overstyled motorcycle, doesn't have the aggression if a streetfighter.

Yes, I agree with you Anoop, X-Blade looks good in person. The 130 rear tyre looks the right size. The chassis is basically from the Unicorn 160, don't know whether it has enough space to accommodate Hornet like silencer. On some angles, it kind of reminds me of a tractor - puny front wheel + large rear ones. We have to wait and see whether the sales of X-Blade dip or grows. I hope it grows.

Also, i dont understand why honda doesn't give features like gear indicator in premium hornet, but gives it on xblade, due to these reasons hornets production will be stopped due to poor sales, also xtreme 200 r will kill hornet. Hornet will be extinct [emoji22][emoji22]
Gear position indicator is nothing sophisticated - instead of 2 contacts on the neutral sensor - it will have one contact for each gear and neutral. Gixxer is rumored to get updated in 2019 (more than new colors or stickers). Am sure Honda will add a GPS by then, and hopefully, an engine kill switch.

It remains to be seen whether Xtreme 200R can save itself first. I am curious to see how they price the Impulse 200.

X-Blade will be sluggish than the Hornet ? (Same primary reduction and gear ratios, final gear ratio is taller)

All bikes here except Hornet manage to do 80 kmph in 5th gear at around 5700-5800-ish RPM which is good. GS manages the same but only in the 6th gear. Hornet, IIRC, 80 will come at little over 6000 RPM.

The hornet's torque curve is different though, peak torque comes at 6500rpm, while that of the unicorn and x-blade come at 6000rpm. This tuning is somewhat strange IMO as the engine is a long stroke engine.

Unicorn 160 does 100kmph at 7000rpm while the Hornet reaches it at around 7200-7300rpm.

It looks like Honda has shortened the final drive ratio to compensate for that tyre.

This is Honda we're talking about right? I don't they'll give a kill switch for commuter bikes when they failed to do so for their CB150R.

Yes, and they'll never give dc electricals [emoji23][emoji23] . In 2018 hornet they've introduced a new technology, led which runs on ac [emoji23]. Enough of this hondagiri , time to teach them a lesson by avoiding them ( higher price no features [emoji48][emoji51])

Shouldn't underrate Honda bro, they are only one having a bigg business in both car and bike markets, unfortunately they are doing this silly kind of things like low power_low RPM in hornet, absence of engine kill switches...

The bike also lacked a rotor/paper oil filter. It only had a strainer like Activa.

Also, the speedometer console in X-Blade looks like it is ripped off from a CBR150R.

Xblade looks good bro, but its skin character is different, hornet is different... Hornet is having matured beast like styling, whereas xblade is more sculpted, new gen sleek bike...
