Handlebar vibration is not due to rust on disc.

Rust on disc is normal for bikes during monsoon since they will be idle some of the time, and as you pointed out, the rust will go away after using the brake. Is the vibration only with hard/emergency braking ? My GS always shudders when I apply the brake too hard (like when a car cuts me off in an intersection, now learnt to slow down defensively). Also, the brake always vibrated when applied a little hard when the disc was wet (rain).

Yes, I heard CBS-version's brake pad is costlier than non-CBS (due to increased length/material?). Did you have success replacing only the top panel of the speedometer assembly (or) replaced the entire thing as a set?

I replaced the entire top glass panel.. For 600 bucks.. My suggestion is to do it asap cuz water is entering via the top and the led is getting wasted.. They told me led will cost us some 6k...

Though old and not covering for 160R/Uni160, you can download this price list of Honda, most meter assemblies (complete) are costly.

I've had the problem with the console too! Had posted the problems I was facing in this forum earlier (https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcy...ml#post1298483).

It started off as a problem with the clock. And then, other problems followed.

I had given it to the ASC, they said the console didn't have a problem. A week later, I gave the bike to the ASC again saying that the problem wasn't solved. They rechecked the bike's wiring and said none of the parts had a problem (this was done for free). From then on, I've not had the console problems again so far.

Yours seem to have been a wiring/connection problem - clock would be wrong as the power source was interrupted. Some batches have a problem with the console itself, I think, even if the power source is uninterrupted, the clock would still be wrong.

You do have a point there. Mine might have been an isolated issue.

I have changed to Motul 300v on first change and then shifted to Honda Full throttle
Both oil will give you same smoothness .
However, I found throttle response with Honda is is better. Also, top performance is less with Motul.
It's not that Motul is inferior, it just over kill for 160cc bike. Possibly, Motul 7000 is better suited than Motul 300v.

One more point with Honda throttle. Officially your warrantee will void if you use other brand oil.
