Your hornet is designed to run on Honda 10w30 for its entire lifetime. Using FS oil will not make your engine last longer magically.

Motul 300V can be used on Splendor also, going by Amazon reviews, but what's the point? It's a track oil, not meant to be used for more than 3000-4000 kms.

Any quality oil would last long, contain enough detergents and lubricants to ensure smooth, and long lasting operation of the engine.

What if if told you that your engine life depends more on engine oil level, quality, timely service rather than superior, well marketed oils?

What if I told you that some guys in Europe and America use truck engine oils in their 1340cc superbike engines, and are happy with it for years?

Would you still want "better oil"?

Yes, it shudders only under hard braking. If I press the brake lever softly there is no vibration. I have also checked whether there is any other reason for the vibration, but the fact that the handlebar vibrates only under heavy braking points me to same conclusion.

A temporary fix is to clean the rotor and brake pads with water. It seems like we should go to the service centre to get this thing fixed permanently.

Get it replaced from local shop. I got Philips for 140/- better than stock bulb.

I am coming from a RTR 160, having driven 5years with it. It never disappointed me. What can i expect better from Hornet 160R. Thanks Need your suggestions.
Frankly, 75k for a 5-6 month old bike is certainly not a bad deal. Go for it.
Hornet will certainly not have the acceleration of an RTR 160 but will be a lot more refined and has a more relaxed riding position.
p.s : BTW why is the seller selling it so soon. Hope it is not one which has met with an accident/ lemon. Please have it checked by a competent mechanic/ASC

I have upgraded my front headlamp to Osram Night Racer Plus. It's definitely better than the stock headlamp but auxiliary lamp will be the best solution considering the reflector design of Hornet which disperses majority of the light when I switch to high beam. Since fitting auxiliary lamp requires rewiring, I am yet to confirm it from the customer care/service centre whether fitting auxiliary lamps will void the warranty

                                Hi guys.

Completed around 10,000 kms on my bike and the mileage is around 40-45 when enquired got a suggestion to get the chain socket changed.

Did anyone get it changed. Could you suggest me how much it costs and would that affect the mileage outcome.
