The is mine.. i have achieved this on pure straight roads no downhill or something like that... Being on the heavier side this speedo indicated speed is pretty impressive & yes top speed do varies if the bikes's tyer pressure is not correct, chain is loose or heavy opposite wind blast is thr.Click image for larger version

Ya... and also engine has to reach the right temperature. Actually I did this topspeed in flats but gained momentum from a slope. I could see speeds above 135 very often only after using motul 300v 5w30 oil. Before that reaching 130 is a bigger task. And also I’m a bit heavy about 90kgs and used to have luggage of 7kg. May be lighter rider can clock better top speeds.

Yup!!.. combined weight of 97kgs will effect the top speed on a huge Margin. M 80+ for this 142kmph is impressive no. There are video were ppl are doing 149kmph on a straight road.

Facing a leak on the right side of the oil cooler. My bike has run 8.5k. Due for a service in the next 200km or so. Checked the oil level today. It was below the minimum mark.

Will be heading out for the next couple of days hence didn't want to get it fixed immediately. How much is a safe limit to ride with low oil.

I can hear noise from the valves during cold start. Most likely due to less oil?

Anybody else faced the same issue?

Here it is. Notice how the bottom is stained with mix of oil and dirt.

Hi, I'm new to this thread. Anyone facing issues with chain rattling sound? I travel around 50kms a day so i apply chain lubricant almost every week. But still i can hear the chain rattling.
                          Thanks.

                              Hi Everyone,

Recently took delivery of my new RTR 200 ABS.

While it is irrelevant to ask this question for this bike, but I do want to install this thing.

Is there any idea to install a pillion backrest?

Even a little one would do the work of giving a slight confidence to pillion riders.

I would welcome any suggestions for where to get it in Bangalore or online.

                              Thanks,

Never ride with low oil or you may seize your engine. Fix it immediately.
