Is there any change from the old and new. From when the new one was available? I replaced an entire set last week after doing 18000 kms. But still the new one is a little bit noisy in the inner sprocket.

Im about to buy the base version of R 2.0 at the end of month:
I'm from Bhopal MP. and the the quotation given to me is below:
      Ex-Showroom - 98574.00
      RTO - 8961.00
      Insurance - 3864.00
      Accessories - 600.00

Total - 1,11,999.00 (Can anyone confirm if this is OK)

Also I'm getting a discount on previous version and I'm getting it at 1,08,000.00 OTR

Which version should I go for and does the OTR price seems ok.

Strange! The newer front sproket comes with a rubber fitted on it... Tvs rectified this issue last year itself, its getting replaced under warranty. Check ur front sproket if it has that rubber thingy or not.

I don’t have rubber on it. It’s just a conventional one. Can you share a pic of it?

My bike has done around 8900 kms, Started to face heating issues from 6000 kms around the legs. Heating usualy starts to happen after 10-15kms of riding ,engine noise is more, some loss in power, and pickup is down too

Problem persists even after servicing changed engine oil, front chain sprocket. Not much change.

Check air filter, spark plug. Ensure the oil is changed really and it is of right grade. If it’s all ok ensure the condition of oil pump for oil flow.

                        Hi guys,

I have completed around 2500kms on my RTR 200 and up for my second service now.

Theres nothing to complain about the bike, and 2500 is not a lot to know the bike well. however, I have one issue which I think is quite peculiar.

When starting the bike cold, I generally give it close to a minute to warm up, when I begin riding and eventually shift to 3rd gear I feel a complete loss of power when I release the clutch after shifting to 3rd gear its like the bike almost turns off.

The feeling is similar when you release too much clutch in 1st gear without any throttle and the bike turns off.

Its easy to recover from it in 3rd gear however as pulling in the clutch keeps the engine running.

Im gonna report it to the service guys but in all honestly, I dont trust they will investigate this especially since its occured only 4 times to me.

Any suggestions/ideas/clues you have as to what might be causing this?

                        Thanks a lot.

It’ll take some time to warm up. It’s normal for rtr200 carb model.

yes changed that too, as i said, power and pick.up are good for 10-15 kms, then engine heats up, can feel them in my toes, engine sound is pretty high, the bike doesnt responds the same way before, feel the lag and pickup
