Out of the two bikes, which one do you feel has the most refined engine?

Guys, need advice on whether to buy the Apache 200 4V FI v1 or wait for the 200 4V FI 2.0 (slipper clutch one). My current Apache 160 FI is giving up and needs to be replaced. I was hoping that the 2.0 FI would be available soon but it looks like a distant dream now. I am following up with TVS on Facebook and Twitter for the 2.0 version but no clarity from TVS. The first version of 200 FI might be available in Mumbai. The other option is to go for Yamaha FZ-25. Confused, big time!!!!!

Is there a possibility to reset the high speed record on the console? Mine shows 151 kmph don't know why. ( Apache 160 4v)I asked it here because both the bikes have the same console.

The bike has already launched. Why are you waiting for it?

The bike (FI variant) has been launched only on Papers and Websites. The FI variant is not available in showrooms. Even the FI variant of 200 4V 1.0 was available after 2-3 months of relaunch by TVS in Nov '17. There might be one "1.0 version" available with the dealers in Malad, Mumbai. Hence my question whether to go for 200 4V 1.0 or wait for the 2.0 version with slipper clutch. I heard from the Service Centre guys that the slipper clutch version is quite good with very smooth clutch and gear changes. Currently only Carb variant (v2.0) is available with all the color options. The ABS variant might be available, not sure of that. But FI variant is definitely not available.

I would have got a call from the dealer (Hare Krishna, Mumbai) if it was available as I had already put in the booking amount with him since February. Let me check with him today.

Trust me when I say that the variant that you mentioned is only available in smaller cities of the country as it's got only a few takers there!

Yuhu congrats! So how's your riding experience with the bike? And have you observed the brilliance of ABS while breaking? Does the breaks have adequate bite?

I don't understand where is TVS going with this strategy!!! There is good amount of demand for the FI variant and all the stock coming out is of the Carb variant.

Yes supeb braking from nissin sourced 3 piston caliper braking . Braking performance is just below dominar 400. Bike is smooth it will becone more smooth after 1000km . Till now I've completed 530km only

I think the FI variant has a good overall demand in foreign markets and along with that, the value TVS gets is also more than they do in the Indian market.

As a result, all the good mangoes from TVS go to foreign markets.

Just speculating. It could totally be fiction.
