I was facing the same issue, with excess heat in the legs, and reduce in performance. bike lags a lot. I couldn't find any answers. Bike still in svc. SVC would have poured 1.2 litres, since the bike is heating a lot, there is drop in the engine oil as it get vapourized.

Now my rtr200 gets heated soon, after running about 10 kms. I feel the heat coming from engine on my legs. Heating problem started since last 3-4 days.

Engine oil is good & just above the minimum level indicated..

Get the bike from SVC and change the oil from out to a better Synthetic oil. Try it out. If heating is less then the oil which the SVC use is not upto mark, if it is still heating then there is some other engine problem.

Hey guys, anyone recommend any after market disc pad for front brakes? The brake pad is almost worn out and I am now looking for a new brake pad.

Phew.... yesterday completed 30000 kms on my bike. Bike is flawless and awesome. I just enjoy the ride everyday to work and back.

At 30000 Kms Tyres (TVS Remora) still the original without a single puncture are going strong, Chain and sprocket still the original but i think i need to change it now. But not understanding if it is spoilt or not. When i pressure wash the bike and lube the chain there is no noise and chain is smooth and still goes 120+ easily and regularly. So will wait and watch. Brake pads using the 3rd set and Clutch plates 2nd set.

I have still not completed the 2 years of ownership. Bike will complete 2 years in August.
I have reached the highest speed of 130 only once and i am not a person who would try for top speed everytime i am ok with the 120ish speed till i am enjoying the bike.
Quality wise no problem. Only thing that is bad is the Gear Indicator sensor which goes bad very fast, but i have got used to it and so living with that. We can change it also as it is cheap about 200 rs. but dont like to go to SVC everytime and also the spare is not available maximum times.
Other problem is the bike is about 3 yrs old in the market and still there is a shortage of spare parts.

Was the bike ridden in rains? It's just accumulated dirt and sand after rains.

Get the bike to the guy who does pressure wash or regular wash. Ask him to spray a jet of water from the nozzler he holds on the disc area. Rotate the tyre by hand so that the water cleans up the area of the caliper easily.
                This should get things resolved.

Actually took it to svc. He said it's new bike and it's common. He said to allow some period. I made him to clean the disc and I don't know what he did. The sound keeps increasing day after day. The bike new it's been just after 1 week I started getting irritated with that screeching sound.

                    My New Apache V2..

I was riding Pulsar 180 Earlier ( For almost 6 Years) .. Mine will just a office commute of 30 kms daily
Major changes i miss from pulsar is..
                    1. Side stand alert light( Couple of times riding with side stand on in RTR & felt bump on cross)
                    2. Auto cancelation of indicators

                    Advantages i got in RTR 200 V2
                    1) Engine smooth sound over pulsar engine noise
                    2) Build Quality of RTR
                    3) Silencer beat sound
                    4) Initial pickup
                    5) Fully Digital Console( I love all the Info & display)

Just enjoying initial kilometres.. Further update will be after few hundred kms riding.

I got my version 2.0 abs delivered on 2nd of this month. Clocked around 350kms. I will have to leave the city and abandon my new bike for 15 days. Can I leave it just like that or should I follow any precautions? Kindly suggest me.

I have done what u said bro. But no luck. Same fukin freaking noise from a new bike. I just want to break the break lever. That irritated I am. Didn't expect this from quality of tvs.everyone says it's not a problem. But I know how bad we'll feel when we get this type of issues from a new bike which ruins the biking experience completely. Very disappointed. Svc guys says it's common. How is it common? The hell is wrong with all people? They will understand when they put hard earned money and get this irritating noises from a new bike.

take the brake pads out, rub them down really well on some coarse grip sand paper and put it back in. do not glaze the pads, just scuff them up evenly.

if it still persists, you might want to get a caliper serviced i.e. cleaned/greased.. some of the things to be done:
                            1. remove pads
                            2. clean the caliper with soap water, and push the pistons back in (sometimes removing pistons/seals and cleaning them and putting them back might be better)
                            3. grease the caliper pins if any
                            4. assemble them back.
                            5. bleed the fluid and top up if required.

The rear break has got abs rings. Will this impact the abs functioning?

No problem. Just park the vehicle on center stand and keep the fuel tap off.
