Can somebody validate this? My Apache (200 4V Race Edition 2.0 ABS) feels like a horse in terms of height. I can barely hold my foots on ground. I'm 5'8" for reference.
Other Apache 200 models (non RE 2.0 ABS) feels like a midget when compared to my bike.
I can see a huge difference in terms of seat height when compared to other A200 in my office.
Can somebody shed some light into this? Whether seat height is increased for RE 2.0 ?
Or is it just my bike? If so what might cause it? Suspension? I thought A200 comes with pre-tweaked setting (KYB) which should've been common to all models.

Actually the tape which is used to measure your height is defective [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] apache 200 feels shorter than my hornet due to it's tapered fuel tank in the seat area. I am also 5.8 and i have ridden apache 200 race edition so i am 100% sure.

Hornet was quit low when compared to my bike. I can flat foot on almost all the bikes. Only bike which I feel same height as my bike is Interceptor 650.
So, I guess the height issue belong only to my bike, not to the whole model.

          Seat Height:
          Apache: 800mm
          Pulsar NS 200: 805mm
          Hornet: 790mm

          All are almost same.

For the Gear noise or gear being hard
ask svc to level the gear lever properly as per the footpeg. And for gear sensor issues ask them to replace it since the bike will be in warranty.

For the cold start and other frequent issues, Pls write the feedback properly post service at svc. More and more complaints will result in enhancement. Always write feedback and complaint.

Any1 felt vibrations on right footpeg on more than 60kmph?

I mean to say that though seat height of hornet is 790 mm, the seat and the tank is wider it makes the rider to spread the legs more as compared to apache, as a result of which apache is more suited for shorter riders. May be your monoshock has some issues( slightly longer size maybe, manufacturing fault)

Need help on clutch free play..
In my bike free play is very less which I noticed only today.
When I tried in increase with known mech i observed 2 things,
                1. With more free play whenever I release throttle clutch pushes front.is it normal?.
                2. I feel drop in pickup with more free play.

What should I do for these

I was wondering if Tvs now will launch Fi+ABS or they gonna discontinue standard Carb & Fi variants with only DC ABS on sale?

Keep about 1.5 cm freeplay on hot engine and you must be fine. If the gearshifts are clunky, adjust by half to one turn (180° to 360° rotation of adjustment nuts) of spanner till the gearshifts are smooth. There must be a small freeplay (2-5mm) when the engine is cold.

Usually the freeplay spec is given for a cold engine but this method works good.

                        They are various overflow pipes

Thanks. I did that. But feedback from clutch when deceleration is normal?

I got another issue with card afr screw. When I gave for 3rd free service, I asked the svc guys to tune it cause I felt there is loss in power at 5k rpm. Looks like they damaged the screw. Now it's very tight. But power loss issue is solved. Any way I can fix it back to normal. Moreover i may never take bike to svc for any service

The AFR screw shouldn't be tight, it should have adequate turns both in and out. If it's tight then, they've messed with the settings and the setting isn't right. Could you post a picture of your AFR screw?

                            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                            THE END

That feedback from clutch is normal.

My AFR screw was tight before my carb was repaired for a clogged pilot jet. After that it was loose. The carb was at a similar setting before and after repair.
