This noise was more prominent immediately after the first service, now the noise is slightly less. I feel during service they have not adjusted the clutch properly. Not getting time to take the bike to the service center, probably tomorrow I will visit the service center. But the problem is I feel a bit skeptic of these service people, they do more harm rather than servicing the engine. They have already spoiled my other bike's engine.
Don't take chances, if you feel something is out of round, explain it to them immediately and make sure they get it rectified. If they aren't convinced, try them to check with any other bike 200 that's nearby so they get a clear picture.

Thanks man. I will try to get it rectified tomorrow from the service center.

My bike mileage got reduced by about 5kms after first servicing.

Previously it used to give me around 35-38kmpl but today i checked after running my bike for about 300kms after first servicing and it came at around 33kmpl.
I drove around 230kms on highway after servicing with an average speed of about 60kmph. The only difference is that before servicing i drove alone but after it I mostly was with pillion.

Does this is serious problem, should i go to SVC or i am thinking too much?

Take an average of 2-3 tank fills before arriving at a conclusion.

            Hi Guys,

I have one doubt. I took the base version of Apache RTR 200 with just one update i.e. Pirelli. But the showroom guys have given me only the rear tire as Pirelli and the front one is TVS Remora only. I took my bike from TVS Kubera Showroom, HSR, Bangalore. They are telling me that if I go for Pirelli option only the rear one will be Pirelli and the front one would be default only.

That is definitely not how it should be. Both the tires should be pirelli and it would increase the cost by around Rs5000. If I were you I would do a comprehensive pdi of the bike to see if there are no other issues and take pics of any issues you find and contact tvs customer care and escalate this without delay. Don't want them putting this on you.

This is a joke. The dealer has taken you for a ride. AFAIK Apache RTR 200 Pirelli variant should come with Sport Demon at the front, and the Angel GT at the rear. Contact TVS and escalate this issue at the earliest.

White colour requires more cleaning, wash it with car shampoo and water and rub it with wax pol or any other automotive polish to remove the stains ,

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I went ahead and got a generic mount for now. Posting a link from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Floureon-Univ.../dp/B017UC20QC - Not able to find an equivalent link from Amazon India). I got it from JC road where prices seem to vary from Rs650 to Rs850.

I seems quite sturdy for the price (has usb 5V/2A charging port too). Mounts onto the RVM stem and we did do a test ride in Bangalore roads ( though not at high speeds ) and it didnt budge a bit. I am thinking of getting something like this to make it more secured (https://www.amazon.com/RAM-Mount-Tet...5E5JDZT8TCQYW6).

Overall, this seems like an OK stop gap measure till I can get a RAM mount and a charger like the Bolt charger. I will use it for a few weeks and post back with updates.

Shoot a mail to TVS SVC.

I ride an RTR 160 and I had my worst experience in service from this Kubera TVS service centre. As per my past experiences with them, this is the worst svc I have ever seen.

Once this issue is resolved, except for spare parts purchase, don't ever visit them again if you want to maintain your bike in good condition.

PS : I don't frequent this thread, just thought of replying seeing your post.

Well if yours is the normal white (and not Matte white) then one of the best wax that I know of is the Collinite 845. It comes in quite expensive but is said to provide great protection (water beading test shows great results after months) and we need only apply minimal quantities in multiple layers to achieve really good protection that lasts for months.

Edit: Also the term Wax Polish seems like an oxymoron. If you want you can search for threads here and in other sites to better understand what tools and materials you require to get the best paint protection on your bike.

Hey have anybody kept an eye on engine oil after the servicing is done. Is it upto mark i.e. 1.2 litres.
i am thinking that my engine oil is less than required and i also checked it from local mechanic. He said its little less. But
when i checked the same with SVC they are saying its proper. but i doubt because what i have also seen i think its less.
How do i confirm? Because if its less i dont think i will be doing the next servicing from them. I would feel it much safe to
do the same from my local know mechanic and change the oil in front of me.
