Try to spray some water on it. If there is some air leakage, you will know as bubbles will start appearing.Originally posted by Om1234 View PostSorry for consectuive posts i am new here

It doesn't matter what you ride. What matters is, You Ride.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
some jugaad can be done but the way these are manufactured, there is a little room left for your local puncture wala to do something about it.Originally posted by Om1234 View Postno leakage brothers
i am afraid of tyre bursts and all stuff
can it be fixed?
on the other hand, tubeless tyres have a metal compound underneath the rubber. the tube sits at the deepest layer.
when punctured, this compound holds the tyre tube in its position, making it impossible to burst out, like a balloon.
you should read about the radial tyres. this is very interesting stuff.
But to answer your real concern, these tyres dont burst but easily punctured.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
I don't own one but i have ridden it for quite a long distance and i faced the same issue. What you did is also a correct way to find neutral and won't harm the engine or gearbox.
But there are certain scenarios (Traffic signals etc) where you don't want to kill engine. To find neutral while coming to a rolling stop and when you are nearing the speed of 5-6 kmph, try to gently tap the gear lever towards neutral. It worked 90% of the time, rest of the time it just got pushed to next gear.

Yes bro. Sometimes while slowing down it just clicks into the neutral. But when I stop the bike like after reaching home I can't find it so I just kill the engine and do as I explained earlier.Originally posted by neeljinwala View PostI don't own one but i have ridden it for quite a long distance and i faced the same issue. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
In my previous 150 cc bike I dont have the habbit of engaging neutral. I will leave the bike in first gear thrn kill switch to stop the bike in traffc or in parking lot. When starting just engage clutch to start the bike in first gear. In 3 years of riding i didnt start the bike in neutral. Is this riding habbit wrong to follow? Please advise

I do the same and it doesnt harm as long as the clutch is fully engaged.Originally posted by jagaddjag View PostIn my previous 150 cc bike I dont have the habbit of engaging neutral. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
This means during cold starts either:
1) you don't idle your bike for a minute before starting your ride. (Not good for your engine)
2) or you idle with the clutch pulled in. (Not good for your clutch)
Both of them are not good for your bike.

Never faced this issue on my Mockingbird.Originally posted by Ashish saini View PostFriends Its hard to find neutral on dominar as I have just rode it 75km. However I use this method kill engine, pull clutch and then tap and bike goes into neutral. Is this method is okay to use? Thanks
Its now around 6.5k kms.
Get the clutch cable play adjusted and it would be fine also get the gear lever bolt tightened up.
