See if the company said, it must be safe, but look its your bike and you want to keep it safe & long. So why risk it. Keep a little less. I understand the urge. But its only 500 more, you can it take to 6k at 800kms if you want.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Why not but i still kept it at 5k, and at few occasions till 5.5k. 6k is too much, you won't be able to take to that mark in local. It does 80kph at 5200 rpm only. At 6k near about 90-95kph.Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View Post

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
How many times you hear the same thing? It may be one or two instance.Originally posted by Jyotishman View PostSo i went beyond 600 kms today and pushed the bike a little. 120 kph to be precise. Felt damn planted and secured. But there was a strange thing that i faced. At 100 kph+, as i press the front brake lever, there was a buzz, just for a second, or even less. Not present at lower speeds. Any suggestions.
I personally do not press front brake at 100kph. I first use engine braking and then slowly apply the brake. I press more on back than front at first and then when the speed is reduced then gradually more pressure on front.| SOL 68s | Rynox Tornado Pro | Rynox Advento | Cramster TRG2 | Scoyco MC20 | Hero 5 and SJ6 |

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
FZ25 has 2*13W low beam and 1*9W high beam.Originally posted by paul.1911 View Post
Now 162W is similar to what R15 produce. F25 HL low is 9w High 13.5w total 22.5w.
if R15 can run 35w then where the additional power is going on? F25 should handle two aux light easily. But some test are required before that.
Total is 26+9 = 35W.
The bike is already running at its max setup.Regards,

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I think yes. Bcz regarding the same topic we have discussed many times already. If it's unbearable go to SVC otherwise wait till the first service..Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostTried to ride above 5k rpm and there is a strong vibration on the handlebar and footpegs at 5k rpm.
Is it normal for odo reading of 525?

And and our very own XBHP brothers have reviewed the FZ25 which says it has 13+13+9 setup. Follow the link below or if it doesn't work then Google Baba to the help for the XBHP link.Originally posted by paul.1911 View PostUploaded by someone i don't remember but it says only 13.5 not 13.5*2.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
So yesterday I took bike on open roads to test its top speed. I took 2 attempts and the bike couldn't go above 128-129 kmph on speedo. I was tucked in to reduce wind blast. I'm not a heavy rider (66kgs) and have clocked over 3600 kms. Also, it wasn't windy.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It depends on a lot of other factors. Inclination of the road, Tyre pressure, chain lubed and properly slacked, how do you shift - these all come to my mind.Originally posted by sauravalwaysurs View PostSo yesterday I took bike on open roads to test its top speed. To be honest, I don't really look for top speed of the bikes I own. Rather I always see how fast it can catch and dispatch the general traffic with least efforts and maximum results. 60-75 kmph in my usual riding conditions is what my target is.Regards,

1.) well you wont believe it was a little down slope as I was pushing the bike.Originally posted by Akash.Yadav View PostIt depends on a lot of other factors. Inclination of the road, Tyre pressure, chain lubed and properly slacked, how do you shift - these all come to my mind.
2.) chain was cleaned and lubed a week before.
3.) I assume tyre pressure should be ok as I have filled nitrogen 15-20 days back.
4.) I shifted above 6k rpm.

yes i also have similar top speed a bit high & if you are riding with a normal pillion top speed will go down as low as 118 kmph.
Since top speed is not my primary concern that is why i was not worried regarding that.
i am getting high mileage 40+ so i think issue might be in the tuning(not sure).
my bike's idle rpm is around 1200 (2700 in my odo).

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
If you want to hit top whack, you probably need to ride a little harder and push it to the rev limits. During my top speed trial, I was easily able to achieve 130+, and took it to 137 a couple of times (back-to-back). Beyond that the bike runs out of breath, and may be if you keep at it, it may slowly gain another +5, but that's about it..Originally posted by sauravalwaysurs View Post1.) well you wont believe it was a little down slope as I was pushing the bike.

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
This bike is not ment for top speed, so there is no point in trying for that. FZ series requires gentle handling, be gentle in your throttle, am sure it will do comfortable triple digits.Originally posted by sauravalwaysurs View Post1.) well you wont believe it was a little down slope as I was pushing the bike.
