Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Today I faced the same issue with my instrument cluster..Originally posted by Shamanth Gowda View PostWhen riding is traffic for half an hour, the engine gets too hot and I can feel the hot air on my legs. Bike odo 400. Is so much heat normal? Also have to crank 2,3 to start again. When I turn off the ignition and turn on, the meter animation won't show properly. It's like no animation and straight into display. If I try again it works fine with animation. Don't know the cause

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I missed this problem in your post, sorry. Answer below.
Did you turned it off and turned it on fast? It might be due to it. I haven't faced an issue like that in my FZ. Try turning off and wait for at least 2 sec and turn it on.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostToday I faced the same issue with my instrument cluster..
In my 220 though, if I do that fast then the engine will die but the console will stay on like if I didn't turn it off in the first place. Must be due to ECU, BCU stuffs, not sure."Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts."

Correct!! If you turn key on off fast with cranking , bike will not start...wait for diagnostic orange light to go away then crank..common with all fi cars and bike..Originally posted by robean-gyalchen View PostI .

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I too have faced this issue. Though I never turn on the ignition immediately after switching off, the animation didn't show up and the console directly displayed all the infos.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostIt happens only one time yesterday morning today I have faced no problem
Anyone finding it difficult to remove the key from petrol tank cover? Though there's no problem while inserting the key, I'm finding it very very difficult to remove it after filling fuel. I've tried to remove it slowly and by tilting the key in various angles but still it's very difficult to remove. I'm scared that I'll end up breaking the key inside the tank cover itself.
Cheers!

For the console, if it happens frequently them make a video of it and show it to the SVC, the console might be faulty. Not a big deal/problem but if it is faulty then there will be other problems in the future. If it happens in the SVC then the better. Have it resolved. I haven't faced this issue till date.
For the tank part, it might be due to the fact that the keyhole is not broken in yet? I have no idea, I'm just guessing here but try some lubricant there and see if it does smoothen out then buy some 10B (sketching pencils) and use the graphite in the keyhole.
Search for MC garage video on youtube. - Motorcycle Life Hack: How To Unstick Your Sticky Ignition Switch | MC GARAGE
I have done that and it works. It does not collect dust like other lubricants."Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts."

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The inside lock of the tank pad can be lubricated, the dust wont get there.Originally posted by krishan..... View PostThe tank cap also feels that it's got stuck in its place
Which lubricant? I've used a drip of unused engine oil without problems. Clean it with WD40 if it's really dirty, but since the bike is new this shouldn't be the case.
On this topic, I wish the tank cover was Keyless Push close ones, like in my old 220. I miss that part."Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts."

It's not dirty bro I bought the bike on 17 September and it runs only 160km and there is no dust, something wrong with the tank cap I think...Originally posted by robean-gyalchen View PostThe inside lock of the tank pad can be lubricated, the dust wont get there.
