Okay, so we have got a review, probably the first in Youtube as of now, of our FZ25's performance in the Spiti circuit. Good to know the bike performed well.

      Cheers!

I recall a few pages back someone complaining of hard shifts. I could get that behavior if I tried shifting with clutch down and open throttle. But I normally fully close throttle and it shifts like butter. Hope this helps anyone stuck with that complaint.

Hey guys. I'm looking at the FZ25 mainly for daily commute and occasional touring purpose. I have few doubt so thought of hearing from the owners.
            1. What's the full tank range in city as well as highways?
            2. How are the spares priced? (please let me know the cost of disc pads, plates and clutch cables)
            3. I've heard about the light throw being not so wide. Other than this, are there any cons or common minor glitches in the bike?
            Thank you in advance.

Tank capacity us 14 liters. Safe usage is of 11 liters. On am average I get around 40 kmpl in city so every 10 liters I fill up...I get close to 410 kms

              Spares are OK priced.

Headlight is good enough for city use.

I think as long as we don't cut any oem electrical wires we can claim warranty. As per my knowledge we can install auxiliary lights via a secondary circuit hooked up directly to battery. Only con is that it'll drain you battery slightly faster.

This bike does give amazing fuel efficiency. You'll never be let down, trust me.

Yamaha parts have never been cheap and won't be cheap for this either.

Headlight is a pain, recommend to upgrade to a bulb with higher lumens.

Did anyone upgrade their FZ25's headlight bulb with an aftermarket one ?

Anyone know what type of LED bulb is installed by OEM ?

Hi guys. This is my first post in Xbhp
                              Finally got my FZ 25.
Guys i noticed the following in FZ 25 as well as in R15( I haven't tried with other bikes).

Ignition Key ON (With Engine Kill Switch ON) => Fuel Pump Primes
Ignition Key ON (With Engine Kill Switch OFF) => Fuel Pump doesn't Primes
Ignition Key ON (With Engine Kill Switch OFF) => Engine Kill Switch ON => Fuel Pump doesn't Primes

Am very curious to know why its designed like so

PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) will be done by the people at your dealer end, they will be checking only the points which is their in their check sheet. Apart from their check sheet there are many things can go wrong, which am facing with my bike.

From this point of view it looks like a crack which happened because of mishandling during transportation ( not noticed in PDI)

In this above photo its clearly seen that its a defect in manufacturing ( Noticed after two weeks of purchase)

I asked my dealer about this and their reply was " You should have seen this on the day of delivery itself".Defects does happen i wont blame YAMAHA for this. Guys who gonna get your new bike kindly be careful enough to check everything as much as possible.

Adjusted the beam as mentioned on page one. Huge improvement. This should do just fine.
