  • Re: Yamaha FZ 25 Owners Reviews and Experiences

My odo reads 10,812 kms in just 5 months. Will be away from the bike for a month now. This feels like a heartbreak. Non bikers wouldn't get this.

Okay, I've seen the front view after installation. It is available on FZ25 page on Instagram. I think it's too much height for FZ25. It might face cantilever effect, like shaking and all. Do you have any other on mind?

          No use in wind protection.

I might try the one of fazer 160. Didn't see the 250's one. However it'll be a cosmetic change for the sake of looks only. It'll not reduce wind blast.

Thanks, Ankit! Guys any idea why it is useless against the wind? If it is performing well on AS200, whats wrong with our bike?

Ankit, does it shakes or vibrated at high speeds? I prefer driving below 110-115 kmph.

              First Service Review

Done the first service of the bike at 970 kms and completed 1100 on ODO so far.

Cost somewhere around 900 (oil change to Yamalube and Oil Filter change)

              Problems:
              1) After 800 kms gear shifting had become hard, it reminded me of my old Passion pro. Problem is solved after the service, now it's butter smooth.
              2) Some strange chain continuous like noise from the engine(I'm not sure if it is tappet's or not) had started somewhere around 800. Problem is partially solved, now it is not continuous but occurs sometimes and vanishes after a break. I'm not sure what it is! Wearing helmet I couldn't notice it, pillion pointed it out.
              3) Throttle response was so sudden, I had to be careful to avoid jerks. Solved, now it's smooth and progressive; might be because of lubrication.
              4) They didn't check the air filter, SVC guys said it's not needed and will be done in 2nd service.
              5) No FI check, equipment is not available over here.
              6) I'm not sure even if they cleaned Spark plug or not, I was out for few minutes.
              7) Minor oil leakages were there from multiple sealings, they advised to use the bike for 500 more kms and if they are still there then they will rectify it.

Front end of as200 is designed to deflect wind away from body. This windshield will not work on the ns as well.

                          Hi guys,

Is there any way to install round saddle bag on fz25...

I just need this to store a cleaning cloth and wallet and mobile while driving.... I can go for tank cover also but i felt tank cover is spoiling bike's look.. so thinking of installing this..

Any suggestions to install this, as the pillion grab rails are different from RE models will it fit on FZ25..

Why not try hanging it to saree guard?? Should look classy. No?
One side you have silencer. On the other you have your bag.

Is there anyone still facing hard and clunky gear shifts even after 2000 kms?
