Guys which is the latest stable firmware available now. My 2nd service is due and I am thinking whether to flash to latest firmware only if its stable.
As with the current firmware I only have the problem of incorrect time after sometime even though I correct it.

Do you guys also face the same incorrect clock issue. Any solution for the same.

    Thank you.

I thought only older Dukes LED speedometer had this problem, looks like the new 2017 model LCD ones still have this issue.
My RC having the older LED based speedo is now running around 15mins faster, I had last synced the time around 2 months.

God they have not solved this from the first duke, I thought this was only with the new LCD models.

Haha..Mine too runs slower after some weeks..Seems like KTM doesn't think of this as a major issue and doesn't pay heed to this.

Finished my 2nd service today and since i had done only 2000 kms post my first service, the service center guys told me not to do old change and to do it at the 3rd service only for which I had a little bit of doubt and later complied with them. Total ODO stands at 3007 kms now.

Also again this time they had a separate bill for consumables and separate bill for the chain lube/spray. I don't know why both are not in the same bill.

When I cross verified with the service center guy, he gave some stupid reason which i didn't understand a bit and I left it as i felt there was no point arguing with them about it. Total bill of just 307 Rs.

Dont know I should be happy or sad as I still feel I should have gone for the oil change. Also as someone had posted sometime before about a combination of 3 things they change at the 2nd service. They didn't do that either for me as the kms consumed are too less. They just removed the air filter, cleaned it and put it back which is under the seat.

Apart from the clock issue there was this front brake making grinding noise when tuning towards the right which they seemed to have fixed.

Overall happy with the bike ...Need to cover more kms on it as soon as possible...Cheers

How many kms you had finished for your 2nd service ? As for my 2nd service they didnt change any of the filters as I had done just 2000 kms post my 1st service.

Ya. this 3 things only. This didnt replace any of them in my 2nd service owing to just completing 3000 kms in total.
I hope its safe even thought the SVC guys said its perfectly ok.

Did they change the Oil filter during 1st service? If yes, then no need to worry it'll be fine.
If you have not then you should get it changed ASAP if its never been done since you got your bike.

Reason with brand new engine there will lot of wear and tear, there will be lot tiny metal shavings tend to accumulated in the oil filter during initial 500-1000kms run-in, this gets inspected during 1st service and they change this oil filter and oil strainer.

perfectly ok, these filters are easily good for at-least 5k km. maybe just clean the air filter if required and pop it back in.

If my memory serves me right, the latest firmware version is the v42 all the way from 37 with improvements ranging from faulty LEDs to ECU Error to clock to bluetooth connectivity and a few more nitty-gritty which were periodically sorted with the updates. The latest firmware version is by no means a bad upgrade. It's better to have the latest update as opposed to a one-off error-free old one, just in case if something pops up later. Keep your observations posted.

                          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

They didnt update any firmware on my bike. May be I am already on the latest one. My bike is Nov 2018 manufactured.
Still need to confirm the current firmware version.

TAnd thanks to sudden bangalore rains, my clean bike is again dirty in 2 days ..

You can check your firmware version from your console itself. It displays the version in the settings menu, IIRC.

I am enjoying using rear break on duke a lot more than my r15. I am noticing you can nicely modulate and control bike with rear break. Its 60-40 front-rear usage compared to 100% front usage on r15.

I do miss committed position of r15 at times but am still experimenting with position. With full aggressive position with ball socket on pegs, you do get similar involvement as a sports bike.
