Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
True but it is always good to open up the throttle once in a while just for the bike to run through all bands. It helps in keeping the piston ring in checkOriginally posted by Chandan92 View PostDuring run in one should not exceed 7500 rpm till 1000kms

I am using disc lock from ABUS. It's a very good build. Purchased online @1600Originally posted by ayushbikerboy View PostGuys, What safety equipment or locks are you using to keep the bike safe apart from standard handlebar lock? Also, Is the bike is equipped with immobilizer?

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys need urgent help!
My friend got his 390 just 5 days ago. He seems like facing an issue with DRLs.
They go off for couple of seconds and then come back on and this is happening intermittently.
Not sure if this because of ECU or electricals.
Can somebody tell if anybody faced this? Also, what is the latest software update version?
Any suggestion or advice will be much appreciated.

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
The headlight issue is just a software bug and also he might face other issues like gear indicator disappearing, odo resetting/time date resetting. All those are software bugs which will be rectified though a software update. However if you update to the latest version it'll disable the Bluetooth connection to your smartphone as KTM are releasing a separate app which has proper compatability with phones and hence overcome the issue. btw I don't own the bike just following the threadOriginally posted by experimentalhead View PostGuys need urgent help!

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Ask your friend to contact the ktm service center for the latest ecu update, which is version 39. After this update, many issues will be resolved including the drl issue although the bluetooth might or might not work. I recieved my bike 3 days back. It already came with the v39 and i haven't faced any issue till now (touchwood).Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostGuys need urgent help!
