Sad to see it like this.
Are you getting it fixed under warranty?
Asking because i can see red switch which is used for flashing mechanism or any sort of electronics. I have seen my friends pulsar doing crazy thing coz of that( brake pedals were performing the function of this switch due to some electrical short after one week of installation). (Guessing)Electrical short might have made your screen s#it. Try it once - remove the switch and after market wiring, and see whether anything changes(by seeing the different patterns made by your screen it is possible that your tft is not blown, it is something with electrical signals it is receiving).
I tried fixing the windshield, but it seems the allen key to remove the number plate is not there in the tool kit. Neither from the allen key set which I purchased . Now have to figure out something to remove the number plate.

Finally managed to get the Zana windshield installed. As thick/rubber washers weren't available at local hardware store, I managed with the normal ones. Had to pile on 5-6 washers to get the number plate part fixed tightly. Again the other end was fixed with multiple washers. Windshield now is tightly fixed and there is no feel of any rattles or shaking anywhere. However, I can still feel the wind on my neck and face .

My software is also up-to-date. Anyone else facing the same issue ? I feel issue is with throttle position sensor
Also any one using zana crash guard ?

My friend is using zana windshield and crash guard which surrounds the engine completely, i am using ktm fork sliders and windshield by zana. Crash guards make front end little bit heavy, but provide good protection.
Engine running at 3K RPM does not sound right to me even in the coldest of coldest conditions assuming even that it was parked for 1week.

It can also be a sticky Ride by wire throttle sensor and regulator, do check your throttle default position and free play, get the sensor reading for default position with help from SVC or if you have access to custom OBD2 based mobile app scanners

So assuming that you got new TFT console, what will happen to ODO reading? I know atleast on older 2013 model Dukes LED based consoles it was not possible to get back the ODO, but since the new 2017 is fully digital TFT one is it possible?

Mate and what about if someone is buying a used 2017 model Dukes, how to track if console was reset or replaced, is this replacement getting tracked anywhere on the service history or manual somewhere?!

Anyone using gold runway 40W auxiliary lamps on duke 390? Would like to know if it has any adverse effect on battery or alternator? Any reviews would be appreciated.

Guys, I seem to have run into an issue with the bluetooth connectivity feature on my 390 (2017 model.)

KTM called me sometime in July and asked me to bring in the bike for a "monsoon checkup" (which was later revealed by some reputed online portals as a silent recall.) I dropped the bike at the Kasturba road ASC in Bangalore, and in the evening went to pick it up. One mechanic connected a device to the bike and the firmware was upgraded. But I noticed the bluetooth submenu is no longer accessible (i.e, always greyed out.) After reading this thread I've realised that bluetooth functionality was not supposed to go away. Firmware version is now v42. Third free service was done before this firmware upgrade recall happened.

I don't use the bluetooth functionality on commutes, but on highway rides. So while the issue isn't a critical problem, I'd like to have it fixed before I go on my next ride.

Could someone please let me know how to resolve this? Thanks!

Can anyone give me a run down of all the issues in the 2018 Duke 390. I'll be soon buying one and want to know if the issue with the tft and ecu are resolved or not. And does the nuts and bolts of the bike loosen by themselves over short period of time?
                  Thank you in advance.

The issues with the TFT and ECU have been resolved to a good extent in the 2018 model, from what I hear. Fit and finish is great. If you're planning to buy the 390, I would strongly recommend you go ahead.

Got TFT replaced. Unfortunally i have 4km on new device.
They told four wheels were better then two.

Sad that you lost your original ODO reading

Also, did you collect the select batch extended 1year warranty (total of 3years now) after the TFT replacement?

Yes, I got it just before s#it happened with TFT.

I guess odo reading is also stored on the ecu, which is displayed on the diag tool. I've seen this on my D200, and there was a difference in the reading from the console and the reading out from the diag tool by around 3% iirc.. the console showed more km than what was shown on the diag tool. No proper explanation could be given by the svc folks.

maybe the next time you visit the svc, ask them to connect the diag tool and check out the odo reading from it and let us know what it shows.
