Guys facing LCD condensation issues, what's the solution?

Also how do I confirm if the monsoon kit is already provided? Mine is a July 2018 manufactured, got the delivery in August.

      No solution for condensation issue.
Ktm doesn’t consider it as a problem in first place.

After March manufactured date should have monsoon kit already. To verify you need to open tank and see if the ecu has a proper cover or not. Idk any other way if you can check.

my bike shows v41 software version. But i can see bushes added to back seat (either side of lock bar).
Got the first service done, so I had asked them to update the version as well. So now running v42, there are no much major differences but more of minor bug fixes. I had little issues with the contact name not displaying properly and the phone would start auto-play music once the bluetooth connection from bike is terminated. Since the v42 was flashed, it seems the issues are fixed, will report more if I find any.

Post first service the gear shifts are much smoother and feels much nicer to ride.

Thanks for the info bro . I still have 550 kms for 1st service , i am not getting time to ride except for office which is only 8 kms round trip , that too with huge traffic . Small rides in city during night is not helping much too

          Guys ,

A small query on break in period :

Is it really a problem if we cross 7.5k rpm during run in period ? I gave my motorcycle to a friend and he said he crossed rpm limit once or twice on a 8 km journey back home. Saw online forums and people say these days bikes come with all tests done . Still I want to know if this is an issue ? I rode it after his ride and at high speeds , heard a crackling sound from engine , only at 5 -5 th gears and above 5.5k rpm . Is this normal as i did not hear such sound when I rode at same gear and rpm before ?

          Thanks in advance

            Hazard lights - yes.

if you want to do any type of electrical mods, don't cut any stock wires and make it removable. so that when something goes wrong, you can just remove your mods before going to service centre for warranty claims.
Don't we get the plug and play kind of version for the hazard light that goes into the OBD port? That will not void the warranty I suppose.

            Cheers!

yes you can use that , and remove it when you go in for a service or warranty claim.. but ensure you keep the removed connector safe to put it back in when you remove the flasher module.

Can you tell exactly what the device is ?
that goes into the OBD port?
Or share the product link if possible?

                Thanks.

I couldn't find anything which is in stock on Amazon. It used to be common in ebay which now defunct.

This is the product from Amazon but don't know when this will be back in stock: http://amzn.in/d/dIrimlT

Revving over 7.5k for small bursts wont affect. Engine will feel more smooth after first service with motul oil. Engine is robust and wont have any problem with short duration high revs.
                    THANKS. Don't panic.

                    and
An update for guys still facing the rim paint coming off with just a wipe of tissue or while cleaning their rims. You can use 9h glass coat on your rims. The issue is solved now and rims are easy to clean now.

Did you guys face any issue with incoming call display on console? I have a Pixel 2 XL and it pairs without any issues. But incoming calls are not displayed. However pressing the set button does start the Google Music Play app. Mine is a Aug 2018 model.

Also I see 2 versions of My Ride app on playstore. One is paid version for 600 bucks? Whats the difference?

I bought my motorcycle recently and on software v41 , I face the same issue with incoming calls not getting answered on button press from motorcycle. What software version is your bike on ?

Regarding 2 versions of apps , dont buy 600 rupees one , it doesnt support Ktm duke 390 yet or atleast with stock configuration we get bike with. This app has navigation feature (only for 1290 duke models ) but not 390 duke. You have to download free version and use it for pairing which i am sure you would have done by now

Finally , you mentioned yours is Aug 2018 model , is is white color ? how did you tell it ? from VIN ? If its ok , can you post your VIN number ?

I guess the pairing problem and calls not getting answered/ music automatically playing/ not changing are being faced by android users.
I have an iphone and all these work like charm. Never faced any issues regarding pairing or calls or music.
                          My bike is feb manufactured.

Try using Ktm my ride connect (free app) , keep running it in background , and pair mobile with bike

In iPhone there is no “ktm my ride app” in the first place. Neither it is required.
                              It connects directly.
