    Hi All,

Its been 2k kms now on my bike and i am enjoying every bit of it.
However, i am facing an annoying sound coming from the front of the bike whenever i rev the bike. It is coming from the headlight area.
I tried to find the source and it seems the screw on the top of the headlight split area ( refer image) is rotating. I tried tightening it but it still rotates. I am not saying that its loose but i think the screw should not rotate. I cannot reach at the back to hold the nut while tightening the screw.

The screw is supposed to rotate because it adjusts the LED throw. A few batches have a defective adjuster screw because of which is vibes a lot. Take it to the SVC, they'll fix it

Take it to svc center. This is a known issue and svc guys know exactly what to fix.

I left my bike in svc today for the headlight and coolant vanishing issue. Will keep this forum updated about the fix.

So my display unit did it for the first time. Last night while going home from office, I went for a short spin and covered approx. 100 kms (need to wrap up the running in asap)
While I was almost reaching home, I got a phone call and my phone was connected via the ktm my ride app, as soon as the phone rang, the display went off and restarted (ready to race) and what I see is that the 100 kms that I had covered were rolled back to where I started from. Starting reading was 368, while reaching home it was showing 469~ and suddenly I lost 100 kms reading, lol. I guess there is not way to get it back and I'll have to just remember this number before completing the running in. just a ktm thing I guess.

So what you are saying, even if you don't answer the call and your phone rings and you are connected to your bike's console via Bluetooth, the bike display crashes and reboots?

if yes, how are you going to track your service schedule and is KTM going to agree that your bike is due for first service even though it shows merely 300kms?

I thought all the software bugs were rectified.

Yes the issue was not solved after the v39 update aswell so switched off the Bluetooth compltely after 2weeks or so of purchasing and haven't turned it back on since. thought the console was one of the drolling reasons while buying the bike.

Hahaha yeah i am probably 500 kms behind the original mileage. But i have stopped caring now, as long as the bike runs fine its good enough for me.
I have been on the Sena last few years so the novelty of getting calls etc is just not there for me. The only time i look at the console is to see if there are any warnings (fuel, oil, stand, abs etc) and gear sometimes but thats probably it.

                    - Hard to tell how and when and why exactly it happens and it has only happened with me twice so far. First was on the day I brought this baby home. I covered about 45 kms from the showroom to home, but while I was parking it, all of a sudden the screen just rebooted on its own and the reading went back to 37. Second time when it happened it was right when I tried cancelling an incoming call. So I didnt connect my phone ever since then. Today the svc guys said that a new software update has been installed, lets see. But I'm not afraid of loosing kms on the odo as the ecu already has the principle non erasable data.

                    - Yea same here, although svc folks asked me to use the phone now and asked to notice if this happens again. No need to worry much about loosing couple 100 kms.. it only rolls back to the last reading anyway.

                    - Yea makes sense, I also use my helmet bluetooth to play music, attend and even make calls (via "ok google"). The screen indeed was one of the fancy feature, but nothing much to worry as its only a software glitch and will be sorted soon. I'm happy that we have a tft screen which is only available in premium bikes. KTM is already doing a LOT of us motorcycle enthusiasts and we cant really complain only for such a small hiccup, this will be solved soon I'm sure.

I have covered 1800 kms of riding on by bike. Mostly I have ridden in town ,so I didn't open the throttle to its full. Today when I tried to rev above 6k rpm, engine was not sounding comfortable. There were lot of vibrations. Any tips on how to rev smoothly??

I opened the throttle hard the next day I bought the bike!

What it needs is a good ripping. Take a long trip on a nice road and let 'er rip.
