Got my Duke 390 delivered yesterday. Total hoot to ride. 7K RPM limit is good for run-in period.

I have small query. Is anyone using bluetooth intercom here? Today I tried connecting my OnePlus 2 to the bike and my cheap intercom unit, which I bought from Aliexpress for 2500 bucks.
While my phone got connected to both the devices, but the I couldn't control the music from the bike's audio control. It did display the song that was playing, but neither the audio control worked, neither the play / pause button worked. Is there any setting that needs to be done for it to work.
If this has been answered previously please link me to it. I couldn't find it in search.

Also, is there any Facebook / whatsapp group for D390 owners? Would be glad to join it.

DO NOT QUOTE THE picture set. Remove pics before quoting.

congrats on your new beauty! make sure you dont cross 7k mark till 1st service & dont give to friends. they will just rip it apart.
as for the bluetooth,
you cannot skip, pause, play music on android.
but this works for iOS.
it drains battery as hell.
you need to wait for an update.
same thing happened to me while connecting & ASC people told its only for iOS

Thanks for the input. Let's wait for any update in the app or the bike's software to support Android. I am surely not buying iPhone for that reason. 😂

Wait for other users to comment on this.
& keep an eye on the headlight nut, that's underneath the headlight.
Loosens & tends to fall away.

Android users need to download ktm my ride connect app to use the controls while on bluetooth...But not all players are supported..Play music works..However there is the issue of odometer reset when mobile is connected.

Today while returning from office, I received a call and the contact name displayed on the TFT. But, since my intercomm picks up the call after two rings, I couldn't receive the call via switch gear.
Still, its pretty good I can now know who's calling

What intercom do you use?? Do post some pictures of it and the quality of sounds and everything??

I use a bluetooth intercom from ali as well, but I use iphone, so it all works, problem? the TFT resets & my ODO and Trip and all are reset.. I am not using the bluetooth feature anymore, sucks big time.. got used to the regular phone-headset pairing.. Android phones need a special app from KTM..

one problem I'm facing - my coolant is vanishing, not mixing with the oil, not leaking anywhere.. just vanishing.. and I'm serious.. I feel like it's evaporating or something.. anyone else? explanation from my mechanic here : it's a hot engine, the coolant will be consumed more & it will evaporate.. WTF?!?!

Yes, please check my previous posts. I have been updating frequently about the issue status. Coolant loss is a serious issue. Thats all i can say now. Water pump seals change did not resolve my issue.

Let me know when is your bike make ? My bike is June make and found couple of others in June who are facing the same issue.

Ok to clear things up.

YOU CAN PLAY MUSIC FROM ANDROID
I do every day with my one plus 2 and my beats x using the pad in the 390.

You just have to use the google music to play the songs.
Of course, in case you have an old firmware version you may have a problem.

Are post September manufactured duke 390 have improved in build quality and has no niggles?

When you wash the bike, does water go below the rear seat ?

In my bike, there is gap between the rear seat and the brake light and water goes through that gap and wet all the cables there.
