I got the 2nd service done today. ODO at 3740kms and over 5 months from the purchase date.
Engine oil, oil filter and o-ring were changed. Total cost was Rs. 1220.
Since I do the chain cleaning & lubing myself, saved Rs.450 here.

Air filter and fuel-filter are also supposed to be changed during the second service, but since the bike hadn't run much, I bought the air filter which I will change next month and fuel filter will be changed in the next service.

Also, I got the new software installed. The previous version was v39 and the new version is v41.

    Ride safe and have fun.
    Regards
    Nadeem

Get your console version checked and upgrade if necessary.

I was checking with Adayar KTM SA about the V41 firmware since v39 is so buggy that I have my phone in flight mode to avoid calls if I am riding with music.

But he insists that v41 has not been rolled out to anyone in the country. I tried to explain to him but all in vain [emoji55]

Anyone in Chennai update to v41 ?

          Me. I'm running V41.

Annasalai KTM just updated mine two weeks ago.

You might want to visit them.

Hi! Just picked up my brand new 2018 390! Absolutely love it! Amazing machine!
But I’m having a small problem, something is making a creaking noise and sending viabrations through the handlebars. It’s not constant and it only happens at slow speeds, when the handlebars are turned to the left or right. Showroom says it’ll go away after the first 500 to 1000kms. Anyone else experiencing this?
What is it and how can I fix it

I also face this issue, but only when I turn my bike towards the right.

I told the SVC guys about this and they told that they would make adjustments to the fork. But they did nothing during the service and I still face this. Not sure why and I'm not able to replicate it at will.

It can probably be something as simple as wiring harness holders or a loose plastic cover over the ignition lock set, the plastic is flimsy and can cause vibrations. Nonetheless, if you observe creaking sounds, it's probably something grazing something. A little homework should give you an idea after the bike has been parked, turn the bars left and right, that should give you an idea. Do keep your observations posted.

                    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    THE END

As a part of random checks , I checked underneath the engine and found this. Looks like a screw missing [emoji33]
There is one empty slot in the left side as well as the right side of the engine too.

I'm facing the same problem. Though I don't feel any vibrations coming off the handlebar but there is a creaking noise, like an old door would make when opened and closed, coming from it when you move it left and right.

The sound seems to be coming from right beneath the handlebars, can't find the source.

I was able to get the TFT updated to AV41 from V39. Tried to attend a call while listening to music. No more resets [emoji106] . Hope it stays that way .

Absolutely normal. No, you Duke isn't missing any bolts, it's how they are.
