Nope it's additional accessory which we have to pay and it costs 400 rs. But I got it for free and dats not from 200 4v but looks the same and fits the same. May be one I don't know exactly.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostOh is that free ?
I hope it's a direct fit from the 200 4v and costs somewhere around Rs.200.Safe ride,

No no , The RTR 160 4v comes without visor generally !Originally posted by RebellionRiderRTR View PostNope it's additional accessory which we have to pay and it costs 400 rs. But I got it for free and dats not from 200 4v but looks the same and fits the same. May be one I don't know exactly.
Meanwhile the 200 4v gets it and the same can be fitted with ease.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
I am re-purposing my saree guard with foot rest as side hook for carrying luggage. Will elaborate on this a bit. We know we all love riding and thats the primary reason we have got 160 4V. But there are practical aspects of life, especially when you are a family man. Fortunately 1604v is more practical among other bikes in this category when it comes to seat space, riding posture etc. Regarding luggage I always keep a cloth bag and a plastic clip (used for hanging clothes to dry) under my seat tucked towards left side of seat cowl, without obstructing air flow to air filter. When I have luggage I put it in the cloth bag, place it firmly on the foot rest of saree guard and tie a knot using the carry handles of the bag to the top most horizontal bar of saree guard and secure it using the clip.Originally posted by Aswinlogi View PostGuys did you all got the side hook for carrying some luggage ?
The side hook which is typically found in pulsars and even fz !sigpicOm Yamahaya Namaha...praise the lord!

Re: TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Ownership Experience
The baby apache RTR 160 4V delivered today , good response from the salesman without him it won't be possible !!
They said take the bike at morning and go to RTO .
Bike booked before 2 days ,today registration done and delivery.
Pooja was made and I felt a few hundred eyes looking at me (@bike [emoji12][emoji56]) ,a few did questioned too.
As I got too late for RTO ,I just went with the coconut , bananas from the temple lol [emoji16]
Atlast Happy birthday baby [emoji56][emoji512].
Few observations:
*Seating position is pretty good.(am 6.1 ft)
*Easy to flick !
*Gearbox is butter smooth
*Rev free engine.
(I stick to 3K RPM for 1000 kms)
EVERYTHING IS FINE ! [emoji56][emoji108][emoji108]

Congratulations and happy riding!! Sticking below 3K RPM for 1000 Kms is going to really test your patienceOriginally posted by Aswinlogi View PostThe baby apache RTR 160 4V delivered today , good response from the salesman without him it won't be possible !!

I would say keep 4000-4200 as a realistic limit. You can cruise comfortably at 55 Kmph in 5th gear at 4K rpm without stressing the engine at all.
