This issue happens rarely. Any suggestion what could be the issue. TVS service mechanic is not able to find the issue.

This is new bike , bought 4 months before.. Am just facing only above mentioned issue and other than that its an awesome bike..
      Thanks in advance..
Get a better oil next time. More precisely the TVS 4 premium synthetic oil. The stock oil is useless.

your statement was in response to a query about 7100. hence my question.

I must have been lucky, never to have had oil leakage in my 7 yrs with an RTR...

Oh that part, RTR engine and synthetic oil have this problem of leakage. and thats why I asked to use 2 gaskets instead of one.
All the owners I have met have had this issue with synth oil , even the thread have posts mentioning the same.

if already checked the usual suspect (AFR) , it could be a faulty accelerator cable. get it diesel washed and then lubed at the local mechanic (ASC will ask u to replace) and if doesn't help, maybe replace. this has a tendency to happen if your bike is older than a couple of years, meaning it has seen atleast 1 rainy season...

What's your idling RPM? On a cold start.

His accelerator cable is kaput. Or if his bike is old, timing chain (maybe).

The RPM getting stuck used to happen to me with the idling being high also.
