Re: TVS APACHE 180 ABS - Gear change issue
Get a better oil next time. More precisely the TVS 4 premium synthetic oil. The stock oil is useless.Originally posted by xcuseme View PostHi,
I am facing a strange issue. After riding a bike for 30min-1hr, sometimes I can not downshift from top gear. It feels like gear shift pedal does free movement without changing gear . This issue happens rarely. Any suggestion what could be the issue. TVS service mechanic is not able to find the issue.
This is new bike , bought 4 months before.. Am just facing only above mentioned issue and other than that its an awesome bike..
Thanks in advance..

Oh that part, RTR engine and synthetic oil have this problem of leakage. and thats why I asked to use 2 gaskets instead of one.Originally posted by Kos View Postyour statement was in response to a query about 7100. hence my question.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 180
if already checked the usual suspect (AFR) , it could be a faulty accelerator cable. get it diesel washed and then lubed at the local mechanic (ASC will ask u to replace) and if doesn't help, maybe replace. this has a tendency to happen if your bike is older than a couple of years, meaning it has seen atleast 1 rainy season...Originally posted by Ranjan Dey View PostA problem facing from few days :'( RPM idling problem. Sometimes its goes high nd sometimes its comes down, not in accurate position.. And whenever i rev in 2nd nd 3rd gear trying to stop quickly the rpm struck in 3 to 4000 rpm.. :'(
Thanks in advance :-)
