    The thing is , as the fuel in your tank reduces, your mileage will decrease. THis is beacuse of an unstable supply fuel. Since there is little fuel in the tank,and that too is moving from wall to wall, enough of it cannot be pumped into the engine for proper combustion. Thus reducing mileage.. Ive tested this on a Pulsar 220, with a FI system. Still the problem is there. Even in cars.. Always try to keep the fuel more than half the tanks volume for best possible mileage....

          Hey hi Guys!! Have booked a RTR 180 Pearl White today. Will expect it to be delivered by 11th of this month. So what do I need to check in the bike while taking it??

            You could request them to let you directly collect it from the warehouse.
            So you can actually see the "unboxing " part as it comes wrapped in bubble wrap with mirrors and other stuff in a separate box.. I heard some person did this and was the first one to start the bike..So you can ensure that no idiot has ripped the engine in the first ride...
            You should check that the bike has all the lubricants in place and upto the correct level. Make sure no stickers are peeling off and the paint has no scratched to it.. Check the digital speedo,indicators,headlight,and other electrical things...
            The RTR 180 comes with a detachable rear mudflap. Make sure your dealer hands it to you with the screws or its in place when you take the bike..
            Thats about it..

            Also make sure you never ride without a helmet and drive safe..

              Yeah that s how i also took the delivery , i went there , there were 5 yellow apache s , i chose one after inspection, and yeah if you didnt get this oppurtunity , just have a look at odometer it should be 0 or at the max 2~3km to ensure that the bike you chose wasnt a test ride bike.

                Last but not the least. Get the Teflon Coating done in-front of you (I got it done for free. Hope you are aware of what Teflon Coating is) and yeah dont forget the invoice !!

                  Had the scare of my life yesterday.. Was riding my friends P220 with him as a pillion in Noida.. There was quite some dry sand at a not so tight turn..I thought the tires were good enough for that much.. Went on it with around 40kmph thinking that the beast could handle it.. But i was wrong. The bike skidded .. If it had not been for both of us supporting the bikes with our feet, we would have tipped over and would have hurt ourselves quite seriously.. So just an advice to all BIKERS(especially RTRians, beacuse of their stock TVS tires) to maintain around 10-20 Kmph while turning on sand and not more than 25 while moving straight on sandy roads.. Else your bike will skid from left to right and eventually fall, unless you have healthy legs to support yourselves and the bike.. :P

                    Always Remember:A Tyre is always good/bad as the rider!!

                    Trust me on this: Next time you steer the bike on that same corner it will feel less unnerving. It's always about being confident and knowing the limits of your machine and yourself.

                      ^^ +1 to what chicane has just said now..

                      It all depends upon the rider and skills.I had read in some article before,'Trust your bike,it has more capabilities than you have'..

                      Also,never overdo things.I have seen my friend crash in front of me on his R15 with those 'sticky' tires,while doing 3 digit numbers on a corner.He ran wide and skidded.There was dirt on the road and as a result he skidded.And you won't believe,we(me pillion+my 'other' friend riding) were chasing(racing) them down on our RTR (with stock tires) at about 95-100kmph on the same surface..We didn't crash probably because either my friend had no idea how bad tvs tires are or he has Rossi like genes!

                      Also,whatever tire your bike is running on,you cannot blame them for the fall in dirt/sand..It's simple physics

                      Anyway,I crashed months later on wet.So,the upshot is YES,TVS tires are outright CRAP!

                        and dont corner when you cant see the other end , some time it happened to me that i just saw a corner and leaned , at the other end it was full of wet mud due to water leakage , some how managed it , but it scared the hell , from then on i lean only in corners that i travel daily.
