    • @Vivek - i got it powder coated from a "specialist" here. But, as he did an unprofessional job, and also as expected and prayed not to happen, its bubbling up near the manifold. Not touching it as of now. Anyway, not too worried about it as the more visible parts look good.

Will comment of the difference after this weekends test run on the track... err poor-mans track - NH7 . Its loud enough to get me way through traffic.

          • I completed two month with my Beast, 2600kms on the ODO, 2nd free service done ! Recently I noticed an intermittent click-sounds from the engine while idling. (In-fact it was one of my friends who noticed it !). The SVC engineer says its not a tappet issue, but seems like a bearing issue of the cam. He asked me to wait for a month to see if the sound dies down. If not, he said he would replace necessary parts.

Any of you guys had similar issues when the bike was so damn new ???!

Could be a loose timing chain.

They have mentioned it will be immediately available from Selected Dealers around the country. But none of the dealers which I saw here in Chennai have any clue as when the ABS will be available.

i also found that red box under the tank .which is connected with throttle cable.
what is the use of that box.

Thats call TPS (Throttle position sensor) it actually a switch which toggels between two maps in TCi depending upon your right hand input.

I too had seen that red box attached to the chassis. So it is because of this box(TPS),the bike gives racing throttle response. The throttle cable is divided in to two parts, one goes in the carbureter and the other goes in this TPS,do other bikes like pulsar,zma,R15 have such system???
