            • Guys, like I said, I had an accident a while back, and had a major overhauling done on my bike. The entire front was changed for all real reasons. Lately, I've noticed, vibes have gone up at the handlebar(never were there before), and the handlebar wobbles between 55-65kmph, more so during deceleration. Both my disks make a loud squeaky noise when I use them. ABS works ok, not as precise as before. The feedback at the brakes isn't like it was before. More than anything I'm bothered by the wobble. ABS will take time, I've decided to ask once nicely and then shoot a mail to TVS. The wobble - what may be the cause? and the fix? And vibes?? Can I do anything to take them back to normal? (I'm not bothered by the vibes though!)
Don't matter what it is: Touring; Racing; Commuting. All I know is, I belong on the saddle.

You need to adjust the idling RPM back to 1.2K when the engine is hot, i.e., the time it gets upto high values. This should solve your problem if the tune is optimum. Else you gotta re-tune it.

Did the shocker rods got replaced? I suspect bent rod(s) here.

Exactly the same problem!! I gave to Tristar last week and I got the bike with nothing done. I think they just washed the bike and gave it back.

Meanwhile, I was thinking how would it be if TVS stopped production of rtr

Wouldn't it be better for who ever suggested that to jump in the well instead of suggesting that.?

As i am relatively new to bikes as i recently upgraded from a Scooty Pep to Apache , Would love to get tips & guidelines on how to maintain the bike till it reaches the 1000km mark, where to get good bike gears like Helmet, gloves & info regarding elbow guards, etc and meet fellow Apachians from Pune.Thanx

Congrats Bro Aditya Enjoy the Racing Throttle Response.
your name sounds familiar, by any chance are you from karnataka? to be precise somewhere around udupi narasimharajapura?
Till the first 1000 kms please dont rev the bike above 5K RPM that's it.. & yes dont forget change the engine oil & oil filter after 500-700 kms.

First service falls at this range and oil change is an item in the itinerary.

                              • Hi this Rohit from Mumbai. I was facing problem with my bike. Oil use to get over within few weeks. My top speed went down from 130 to 100, from 100 to 80 and from 80 to 60. By top speed I mean when i reach that speed my bike starts lagging as if there is no fuel in my bike. It even left carbon from the silencer. Consulted svc and they told me that you block piston is worn out and needs to be replaced and it would cost Rs 5000. Since I was not in financial condition I did not get that repaired at that time. 3 days back I got block piston replaced from one of my mechanic. I rode 250 Kms after that but i still feel somewhere something is missing. I don't get that typical "RTR" punch. Can anyone suggest me what needs to be done? And why would I face this problem just within 3 years/ 30000kms of purchase or my bike.
