And, if possible do tell me where do I give my bike for servicing... Not finding anything near Vasant Kunj..
Rakesh , a new SVC opened near my place, gave it there.
Regarding Delhi, honestly no idea, but heard from others that the one in Gurgaon is good.

    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

At last back at home after riding my newly overhauled engine for 2kms
Honestly its a whole new feeling now. Next service is scheduled for 500-600kms, will get the front caliper changed, and the left footpeg is still broken, so thats also on cards.
Attaching the bill copy, bill of 3 pages of Rs 10500. On top of that gave Rs1000 to the mech, he has changed the timing chain, one way, few bearings, engine oil plate (something like that) and few small items. Gave him 1k after calculating how much he has saved.
Good part if anything happens now, he would come at home and service the bike at less cost.

Wish your RTR will be back in action soon. @psr, I have read most of your post on diesel engine oil, infact when ever I am online & I read you Id in new posts I click the post irrespective of the thread. Now my query is about the same as many of us (RTR owners) have crossed 20k-30k km, what do you think about diesel engine oil in Apache's engine? If we can then which one? Thanks!
Thanks for thinking that my posts are worth seeing at least once....I feel the Diesel oil experiment can be done in any engine requiring w40 grade oil and is not too old. The ZDDP in the Rimula R3X and R4 definitely makes the engine run smooth and at lesser temperature. What happens if you use diesel oil is the Detergents in them will clean up the deposits, and in some cases may lead to problem of compression leak, in old engines with worn rings
So if you want to test it IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK...like I did for my bike...

Hey guys, my friend has a Apache rtr 180 abs and has a problem, whenever he corners the bike tyre slips, tire pressure is fine, chain slack also is good, what could be the problem? FRONT forks?

People who visit TVS innovative, bhandup, mumbai for servicing their bikes, the mechanic Manoj is back.

Did a bit sugar coating, he was very happy when I told him his name is being suggested on internet to service rtr.

Need an used ffe for my rtr180, is anybody selling?

Why do you want to screw the engine? The RTR exhaust note is the best among single cylinder bikes.

I used mine for 1 trip and in total of 600kms and then the engine rebuild. Hope you go through my posts on this thread.

Bye The way 47 - Stick to Stock, Those FFE & other stuff is highly recommended for person who rides in city some little km's.... for long rides you may need to cruise comfortably rather then with Large Sound inside your helmet.... Unless you can maintain it properly every week or before every ride don't go for it...

Its messy job, just like adding Custom Rom to your Android Phone, any one can add but only developers & hardcore user utilize it completely.

Yes Do check the bill. It has been third instance with me about Charging anything for job. And if you are servicing your bike with no issues then you can get it service anywhere but if there is any issue or some major problem in your bike you will end up in a Dark Hole... they suck big time, Be aware.

                              Rear Tyre Skid...
Mine Does Same while cornering - Its something to do with Front Suspension I believe, and My rear tyre which is 120 Ceat Vertigo (Not made for Corners)

                                2 things.

                                1. Yes, it'll affect. 2-3 long rides of 100+ kms each is enough to cause head ache.
                                2. A loud exhaust would tire you and make you feel sleepy while touring.
