Is it something that is due to its thread pattern??

Motorcycle tyres are available for many different applications, including: Sport, Sport Touring, Touring, Cruiser, Scooter, On/Off Road, Dual-Sport, Enduro, Motocross and Racing. There are tyres designed for dirtbikes, touring, sport and cruiser bikes.

Sport/performance tyres provide amazing grip but may last 1,000 miles (1,600 km) or less. Cruiser and "sport touring" tyres try to find the best compromise between grip and durability. There is also a type of tyre developed specifically for racing. These tyres offer the highest of levels of grip for cornering. Because of the high temperatures at which these tyres typically operate, use on the street is unsafe because the tyres will typically not reach optimum temperature before a rider arrives at the destination, thus providing almost no grip en route. In racing situations, racing tyres would normally be brought up to temperature in advance by the use of tyre warmers.

Sport Touring tyres are generally not used for high cornering loads, but for long straights, good for riding across the country.

Sport Street tyres are for aggressive street riders that spend most of their time carving corners on public roadways. These tyres do not have a long life, but in turn have better traction in high speed cornering. Street and sport street tyres have good traction even when cold, but when warmed too much, can actually lose traction as their internal temperature increases.

Track or Slick tyres are for track days or races. They may have more of a triangular profile, which in turn gives a larger contact patch while leaned over.[3] These tyres are not recommended for the street by manufactures, and are known to have a shorter life on the street. Due to the triangulation of the tyre, there will be less contact patch in the centre, causing the tyre to develop a flat spot quicker when used to ride on straightaways for long periods of time and have no tread so they lose almost all grip in the wet. Racing slicks are always made of a softer rubber compound and do not provide as much traction as street tyres until warmed to a higher internal temperature than street tyres normally operate at.
Most street riding will not put a sufficient amount of friction on the tyre to maintain the slick's optimal tyre temperature, especially in colder climates and in spring and fall.

Off road tyres have knobby, deep treads for maximum grip on loose dirt, mud, sand, or gravel; such tyres tend to be less stable on paved surfaces.

Touring tyres are usually made of harder rubber for greater durability. They may last longer, but they tend to provide less outright grip than sports tyres at optimal operating temperatures. The tradeoff is that touring tyres typically offer more grip at lower temperatures, meaning they can be more suitable for riding in cold or winter conditions whereas a sport tyre may never reach the optimal operating temperature.

Thanks Divya Sharan and Prateek, i thought daily commuting with an FFE will screw the bike so thought of using it only for long rides. i just want to experience my bike with an FFE.
So using it for commuting like 40KMS a day, will that effect my bike. my bike just completed 2 months and i dont wanna screw it so soon but you guys know the pleasure of an FFE.

Yes Do check the bill. It has been third instance with me about Charging anything for job. And if you are servicing your bike with no issues then you can get it service anywhere but if there is any issue or some major problem in your bike you will end up in a Dark Hole... they suck big time, Be aware.

Yeah Shahbaz, even i dont like TVS Innovative and was very much alert when they didnt gave my bikes delivery on time. i even screwed their happiness by calling the sales head in front of them, but my free services are still left. After that i may try castrol bike point which is near my house.

BTW i had an accident on 24th of DEC due to oil spill on road, wanna change my tyre soon.
for rear i will go for Zapper C 110/80 or 120/80

can you guys suggest me a good front tyre??

Tyres are discussed here in length. For front u can go for Pilot sporty or R15 front tire(Zapper FY I think not sure) . I'm using Zapper vyde for rear and satisfied with it.

For rear u can try Pilot sporty 120/80- 17.. Less life but very good grip.

@Adarsh_Bk I have been trying to get that OSRAM Night Racer Plus 35w since long time. Still there is no stock.I know its available online which@prateek had shared. But the cost is nearly 800 including the shipping charge which is quite too much for me.I also enquired in many other shops. One person said instead of OSRAM there is Philips HS1 35w bulb & it cost 750.Has anyone tried the same. Its costly than OSRAM.BTW I also bought Ls2 helmet & alpinestar balaclava together for 3600/-. That was my New Year purchase.
[NOTE] Pics taken from net as the one I have is not good enough.

I have gone to the same place. Actually you had messaged me his mobile number. So I used that to get to him.
He is telling from last 3 months the OSRAm is not sending them on time.
He said he has already spoke to them about it & that there is huge demand for that model.
Also he is getting his stock from Gurgoan. So even if they receive from Germany in 5 days it will take time to reach here is what he said.

Crap guyz quoting 750 here. Idiots.
Is your 35w or 55w. I think you are talking about 55w bulb as yours is ABS version.

Guys, while changing the rear tire I observed that the distance from the tire to right sidewall is less compared to left aide( Photos for comparison, it may be rotated bcos the app does that)

It was present in the old stock tyre and it is the same in the new MRF tyre. Is something wrong?

Frankly this is something I havent checked in mine.
It might be wheel alignment issue.
I normally check with the bead markings, like stripes on that swing arm beside the tire holder nut. Sorry i dont know the exact technical name.

No changes to the chain done previously or while fitting new tyre.(I mean adjusting).
As I said issue was there with old tires, I just noticed it recently.

Should I check with a TVS ASC?
