So with just 24k on odo changed the front tyre to MRF Zapper FQ 100/80-17
    Stock was wearing out unevenly...
Need to pop in an MRF on the rear too this week.. Probably MRF Zapper Vyde 120/80-17

    Anyone has any experience
    On these rubbers???

Yes bro.. im running on the same front tyre and rear 120/80 17" Zapper Q.. the front tyre makes the bike turn in faster. The rear gives good grip too. It has never brought me down. i think it will be better if u go for the 130 Section of the R15 V2 for your rear tyre so that it matches with your front tyre. If you're not a regular offroader then i feel these will be excellent on the bike

Yes i too felt the same. Bike seems to go into turns and corners much more eagerly... By the way about the 130section rear. Wouldn't that be an overkill? Since stock is 110 and would those tyres fit in perfectly? Anyone running that setup?(r15v2 rear)

I don't think it would be an overkill because the rim size of the RTR is smaller so it won't look as wide as a 130 should but it will fit in perfectly. Im just saying so because both the front tyres that we are using are the R15 V2 front tyres, with the rear Zapper Q I feel that the turn ins of the wheels of the bike are not in perfect harmony because i can feel the rear tyre trying to straighten up the bike in corners whereas the Front Tyre just falls along into a corner..

@Durvesh_RTR : Your bike and the tyres are still new, even the tyres need to reach an optimum temperature to get the grip on tarmac. If its a cold tyre, its bound to skid. And please control your throttle as you still have learner's license, run-in is mentioned by company due to a reason, no bike will forgive you if you dont treat it right.
Regarding tyres, you can upgrade till 120/17, after that it will touch the swingarm.
Rim : R15 and FZ rims are more prone to breaking than ours.

This is my first post I just bought an Apache RTR 180 ABS few weeks ago love the bike the vibes are no big deal for me even bullet vibes are no issue with me.
I love the way my bike accelerates simply awesome .i just have one problem the bike fishtails/wobbles suddenly when accelerating hard at high speeds It happned to me at 92 kmph and then again at 111 and then again at 119 and yes i know I shouldn't be doing this in run in period just couldn't resist temptation !! already completed 700kms in first week have to give bike for its first service. Note I am a novice rider and applied for learning license with purchase of the bike. yeas all 700k have been ridden after midnight with learning license just couldn't get sleep as my beast keeps hauling for me.

Can anyone shed light on fishtailing issue ? I am thinking of changing rear wheel to r15V2 Rim and fitting zapper FS tyres on both of the tyres .I also want to know where can I get computerised fork alignment done?

                  ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Note I also let My friends ride my bike and check for the problem they said that even with slight uneven surface of the road the fishtail occurs and the bike is taking longer time to become stable again .note but while riding pillion there is no fish tailing as I was the pillion and I weigh 115kg and the rider was 70kg Apache was still pulling 115 (speedo) I didn't expect it to do so frankly. I know the mod will cost around 9-10k but if it will solve the fishtail issue i don't mind spending that much as long as the reduction in acceleration isn't significant
I dont know if I'm right but I had a fish tail issue because my rear wheel was misaligned. Does you bike tend to drag to one side? You can notice if you let go of the handle bar(highly recommend you dont do this, unless you are used to it, as it is really unsafe). If your bike veers to one side, you should get your bike wheel alignment checked.

                    Thanks Madhav,

And about Fishtail, it was so weird to me, why? becuase it went after I adjusted my loose chain & lube it. Practically it worked but don't know what is the theorotical reason. :O

Madhav has answered it above, it mustve been due to wrong wheel alignment, which automatically got fixed when the chain was adjusted.

My chain was also a bit loose I got it tightened next day by svc .

Madhav which tyres are you running? since you have joeled bike your acceleration will be even more !

Note my bike doesnt fish tail continiously !! it happens suddenly and then dissappers I am thinking it is due to loss of traction like accelerating hard on super bike you make loose traction .I think since I opened fulll throttle and tvs tyres arn't sticky and there was uneven traction on the road surface this thing happened .

Any inputs on pirelli sports demon tyres? or zapper tyres?

And where can I get Computerised wheel alignment done for my bike?

I'v even heard (from a worker in Sai Iyengar, B'lore) that wheel alignment cannot be done for a 2 wheeler..

Well alignment for bike is totally different from how alignment for 4 wheelers are done. For two wheelers, i believe most of the alignment is done on the rear wheel. The rear wheel should not be touching the swingarm and it should have equal gaps/spacing from the inside of the swingarm.
