I'm sorry to disappoint you Prateek, actually I did read your FAQs-RTR owners like 25 times but I need to have a little more info on breaking in of engine, that's why I posted the question, I thought what bad is going to happen but to make sure I'm doing correct on engine breaking because I love my best I want to keep him in a perfect condition.

I just got my Beast like 3 hours ago and done a 35 km on ODO and I ride the bike like Susheelkumar said(also prateek's tut was a great help, thanks man).
I never accelarated above 50kmph n 4 RPM, all gear shifts are done on 4 RPM.

    I got some doubts,

1.) I'm feeling vibes on 2,3 gears on 4 RPM

2.) Engine getting overheated by my first ride(only 15 km), I've checked Engine oil it's filled !!

Heating is common in a new bike. Nothing to worry, about the vibes, that's what the beast is known for. You'll learn to enjoy the vibes..

Shift gears below 4k rpm. When you think you need to shift. Don't look at the odo and decide your shift. Let your biking spirit guide you..

Vibes are an integral part of RTR..
Live with it..Infact I love it..it gives the feeling I'm riding a beast...
K now let me tell you that vibes in RTR will reduce above 5k rpm only..so you cant enjoy that part for now...
Also once you start using better semi-synthetic oils like Shell -AX7 it reduces much more, which again I would suggest to use only after 5k in odo.
So for now think as if you are taming a wild beast...Its definetly going to be rough with you initialy but I promise its going to be resolved as you move on..
Wait till the first service finishes..The bike will be much better...

Actually I'm not complaining about Vibs but it's happening on low torques that's what frightens me !! I do like vibs but what I'm saying is, is this vibs on low RPM indicate any probs because I've ride my friend's apache and it's vibing on top RPMs not on low RPM. Maybe it'll go after 1st service right ?

Do I need to stop riding my beast for now ?? because it's heated like hell so now I'm taking rest and waiting for next ride

          Enjoying beast a lot

            • Well Let's not lie to our self... Vibes are something which irritates sometime its no good feeling to have vibes in your bike that too in comfortable cruising speed... its a big negative point of RTR which we have to accept

                • Do I need to give my beast a resting or cool off time while driving like after 10 km ?? (Sorry for asking stupid questions but I'm noob to Mechine's )

I'm getting vibes(not just vibs but also some sounds from Fairings) on 1,2 nd gears with high RPM (Not the same as with regular vibs supposed to have with RTR), I called CVS representative and he said it'll be alright after 1st service ! Should I do anything else ?

Check the screws of headlight assembly and front scoops, if you don't know, just go to svc and get them tightened

                    • New Bike owner (Applies for old too)... Remember when you start your bike in morning remember to use Kick without revving your bike engine ....then leave it as it is for exactly 3 minutes & then start Riding your bike under 4,000 rpm varying gears for 10-15 minutes or 5-10 kilometers do it regularly without a fail...

You will notice the difference in every ride after that :-) It really works ...

                        • I want to upgrade my stock bulb to blue bulb, I've asked the SVC guys and they said "Buy the bulbs and we'll take care of it" so recommend me a good one ?

I don't want to do any mods nor use high power, I just want 35w(same as stock) Blue bulb, what company and model do you guys recommend ?

also I'm getting very high vibs at even low RPM, I just called SVC guys and they said it'll be resolved after 1st service, but I'm tensed because there shouldn't be any vibs or sounds(I know Vibs and sound are apache's trademark n I love it but this is little more intense) right ? What should I do ? I've checked headlight assembly and front scoops but they are tight.

Also Should I change Oil at 200 on ODO even before 1st service ?

Is there any problems if I wash my Bike after taking a ride(means engine is hot) ??

Do I need to do anything or avoid particular areas while cleaning my bike with water ?

                          • Go for Osram Cool blue 35W or else you can go for Philips/ Osram night breaker or night vision. 55w...

I am using Philips night vision costs around 600 rupees.

Yes you can change engine oil before 1st Service too, you can change engine oil Mineral before 2500 anytime saying generally...

Well you can clean your bike, but donot put direct pressure water at Spark Plug ..

After washing your bike with Diesel/ Soap or whatever do lube your Bike Chain (Its very important)

And Some additional Thoughts - Donot do teflon coating & all if they ask rupees 300 or more for same, I have my own kit which comes under 1000 rupees in general & can last 3-6 months .

For Instant Shine you can use Motul Shine Spray cost 500 (last 6-7 use), very worthy & good product but on cost side its little high...

or Else go with branded 3M products, For Black part (Dashboard near console & carbon fiber ) use Dashboard liquid from 3M, Formula 1 looks good.

You can use bulbs from Osram or Philips of 35w instead of stock bulb.

Should I get the services done only at the specified intervals or can I get it done earlier/later?
Read the service intervals carefully; they say every xxx kms or yyy days/month; so which ever falls first is the LAST opportunity. This means, you can get all your services done NOT BEYOND the specified Kms or days. Anything within it is fine. You may also choose to pay for the service (which ofcourse costs barely few hundred). But remember, getting it serviced too often (say like 3K kms) are waste; just get the vehicle serviced when you feel issues like hard gear shifts, loud clanks, engine running rough, too much vibrations. Do not leave any minor issues unattended unless you know repercussions of such issues.

Can I get my bike's 1st service done before 1000 Kms?
                              A. Yes you can; but wait to feel the roughness in engine; getting it done in 100-200 Kms or around 800 Kms are overkill. Getting it done at right time is more important.

Using water on hot metal, causes metal fatigue and might result in cracks (we were taught this in school ). Wait sometime and let the engine cool off.
