It takes a little extra time in the first, but now it's barely half an hour to do a mini service by myself at home. I spend one day a month on my bike(s). Tuning of carb once in 2 months because it almost always takes half a day. Once a month cleaning. Once every 15 days or 500km which ever is earlier, clean n lube chain. Not a bad regime. Keeps the bike healthy. I'm currently looking for mechanics manual. I would love to know what all screws are there and how much to tighten them.

Madhav once in a month I can give it to my bike but as per my riding's are it won't be a good option, I've to do servicing in a month some time in 15 day's & mini servicing is what I've to do every week .... so it's almost tough for me ....

Well since you ride so much I think you can take half an hour a week out shaby. That's all it takes. The drain bolt is at the bottom of the engine. Open it(max 2 minutes) and all the oil will flow out(2minutes). Make sure most of the oil is out. Screw the bolt back in(2minutes). Pour in fresh oil(2minutes). Get some diesel/wd-40 in a spray bottle or something similar. Unscrew the chain guard(4-5minutes)- you may do it without unscrewing the guard. Place a paper on the wheel. Spray the cleaning agent on the chain and clean with a brush. In 4-5 Sparys you'll have done the chain(10minutes). Get a bottle of tvs tru spray. Spray the chain with oil till you're satisfied(30 seconds). Start bike n let it warm(5minutes). That's approximately a 30 minute job. And your bike will be as good as new.

Well. All that will take longer. About one more hour. Ill find out how to do that. Brake cleaning... Afaik we shouldn't mess with the brakes. Especially since we shouldn't touch the toner rings or abs will be affected. But clutch free play is easy to adjust. Its there in owners manual.

            • Buddies, I dont know wether its with my ride only or anyone else too is facing this issue. After i finish a ride and park my bike, i get this petrol smell from the engine as if someone has sprayed petrol all over the bike, the presence of the carb might lead to this but, the smell itself is very strong, checked for any leaks from the tank but couldnt find any.never faced this "issue" before but this is happening since the past 2 months...Any idea what would be the reason or am i just hallucinating?

Guys I'm having a wierd problem. Today I was doing daily morning warm up if engine. And I noticed the Speedo showing 2kmph while the bike was in neutral and side stand!!! Just to check if it's Speedo error I gave the throttle a tweak, and the reading started increasing! What's wrong?? TPS? Or speedo? Or sensors??

The Speedo looks almost like I'm riding the bike, only I'm not!
