I didn't want to rev too much... I took it up to 6k rpm. Speedo went to somewhere in 15-18kmph range. I'm due for service tomorrow, thankfully. I'll ask them to take a look.Originally posted by Traveller01 View Post

The Speedo looks almost like I'm riding the bike, only I'm not!

i had brought a studds scorpian after reading your review and tat saved my life yesterday when I met an accident. Its cent % right that ROADS ARE FULL OF IDIOTS.
my rtr lost both its indicator the accident left me with a 45 degree bent crash guard and a bent gear lever.
i got scratches all over my body not even a single one on my head.

Hey Guys,
How do you use choke in apache 180 ? Its like spring. So-
(1) Do you pull it out and keep pulled out while kick and then push back the choke to normal once the bike starts
or
(2) You just pull and push back the choke for once and after that kick the bike to start ?

The extra oxygen injected into the exhaust stream helps the catalytic converter reach operating temperature more quickly during warm-up periods,thus maintaining the emission at a suitable level. The catalytic converter must heat to operating temperature to work properly,thats the whole purpose of the SAI unit.Most of the bikes today are equipped with this,I can recall even my HH Passion had it.

First of all check the brake pads and rear disc.If they are good,remove the rear caliper assembly & brake cam,apply sufficient amount of grease on the caliper pins and also on the slots where the caliper pin fit.You can apply some grease on the back side of the brake pads too for peace of mind.This should eliminate that noise.

3-my bike in cold condition dose not work properly in 10 min after engine may warmer it is OK,before warming jerking during movement observable! what is my problem?

My turning RPM Screw it is OK!
change 1/4 Screw but my problem not changed.
what is this Problem?
My Bike E-Start is GOOD in Morning With Chock! after 1 Min My idle RPM is 1150 and chock released! but when driving bike jerking/Hic-up and when Throttle Rotation my bike Turned OFF!!!!! or late response!
Help me !!!1
in Winter My Top Speed Decrease to 115 KM/h in summer My Top Speed is 135KM/h What is Differences?

The front disc was making noise but i didn't felt any difference in braking, gave my bike to a nearby mechanic.Changed rear brake pad, lasted almost 17k kms, INR 260.Has the price of spares decreased?Apache RTR 180 2011 | Honda Activa 2010 | CBZ Xtreme 2010 (1 month) |Apache 160 FI 2009-2010
